This free, confidential support group at The Bridge Alzheimer’s & Dementia Resource Center welcomes caregivers, spouses, and family members of people living with Alzheimer’s or dementia. It offers a comfortable place to connect with others who understand the challenges of caregiving, exchange experiences, and receive encouragement. No registration or appointment is needed, and each meeting lasts about an hour.

The Shreveport Farmers Market is a weekly pop-up in Festival Plaza in Downtown Shreveport, Louisiana. It runs on Saturdays for 13 weeks each summer and features verified vendors located within 150 miles of the market. Visitors can browse a wide range of fresh, farmed, and handmade goods including fruits and vegetables, jams and jellies, sauces, roots and herbs, farm raised butchered livestock, bread, prepared foods, handmade art, and assorted dry goods.
