Fear Factory is holding a casting call and hiring session focused on building a haunted attraction team that delivers more than scares. Opportunities span guest-facing and behind-the-scenes departments, including safety and security, customer service, ticketing, bartending, bus driving, retail, scare performers, and lead actors. The event features auditions for performers and interviews for event staff, aimed at assembling a bold, high-energy crew ready to bring eerie encounters to life.

Round two of the MCC Signature Series brings standard micro comp crawling across four classes to the West Valley RC Crawler Park in Centennial Park. Competition follows the 2025 MCC rule set. Participation is free, and all ages are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Registration is managed through the RC Arena app, and parking is free. Restrooms are available on site, there is no EMT on site, and attendees are encouraged to bring plenty of batteries and any gear they will need while also packing out their trash. In the Signature Series for 1/24 to 1/18 scale rigs, drivers take on two ten gate courses with optional bonus gates, one set for D1 to D2 and another for D3 to D4. The nano division runs a single ten gate course with optional bonuses for C1 through C3. Competition courses are closed to open practice. The top five in each class earn extra chances in the opportunity drawing for prizes, and updated 2026 nano rules will be announced. A group crawler photo is planned, and the scale trail for mini crawlers will be dressed with buildings and decorations for standout photos and video. The Scale Kings RC Showdown features a show and shine where crawlers are judged in categories that include best theme, best trailer, best competition rig, best scale build or dollhouse, and best nano. Each Signature Series stop also includes a relaxed club challenge on a marked line with no judges. Make the climb, ring the bell, and claim bragging rights, with details shared during the driver briefing and unlimited attempts allowed. Event sponsors and prize specifics will be announced.

Gather with the Pokémon Trading Card Game community to trade cards, meet other players, and take part in a free tournament. Prizes are available, and participants may receive Pokémon League packs when they are in stock. Children 12 and under must have a parent or guardian in order to participate.

Millcreek’s 4th Annual Pacific Islander Skate Night brings community, culture, and summertime fun to Millcreek Common. This no-cost, all-ages gathering invites attendees to experience the traditions, music, and spirit of Utah’s Pacific Islander community through an evening of skating, live entertainment, and connection. Enjoy complimentary entry, free skate rentals for the first 1,000 people, and pizza for the first 50 guests courtesy of Millcreek Pizza House. Big Buddah hosts the festivities, with a performance by Liahona, who reached the Top 24 on American Idol, skate demonstrations and interactive moments with the Skate Loop Legends, music from DJ Fuidawg, and cultural showcases by the Malialole Dance Group. Murray Theater hosts a high energy tribute to KISS, performed by four seasoned musicians who have been recognized as a top finalist in a worldwide KISS tribute contest and were invited to audition for NBC’s America’s Got Talent. James Seda channels The Demon, Erik Winger portrays The Catman, James Cullen steps into The Space Ace, and John Carlazzo brings The Starchild to life, combining decades of stage experience to deliver a show designed for every kind of KISS fan.
