    Creepy Doll Class!

Ogden · The Local Artisan Collective, 2365 S Kiesel Ave

Create a one of a kind creepy doll at this annual hands on workshop. This popular class has sold out in past years, so additional sessions were added to meet the high interest. Every participant receives a doll and a mix of materials to personalize it, with guidance on techniques like crafting warts, wounds, and wrinkled skin to achieve delightfully eerie effects. After learning the methods, you can let your imagination take over and shape a character that is uniquely yours. It is a friendly, social setting where friends can make art together and newcomers can meet creative people. The class takes place at The Local Artisan Collective, with instruction held outside the shop. The cost is $35 and covers all supplies. Instruction is led by Stephanie Howerton of Our Children’s Earth, an artist experienced in marbling, hand dyeing, and designing clothing, jewelry, and home goods. Her work and classes have been featured by outlets such as the Huffington Post, VEIN Magazine, Indie Ogden, Standard Examiner, Good Things Utah, and Fox 13 News. Cancellation is accepted up to 14 days before the class begins.
