At the historic Chase Home Museum of Utah Folk Arts, a milestone exhibition honors four decades of living traditions, heritage, and ancestral memory in Utah. Presented by the Utah Division of Arts & Museums, it highlights the skill and stories of folk artists from many generations and cultural backgrounds, showing how these practices continue to thrive today. Guests will see a handcrafted classical guitar, intricately decorated eggs made with wax resist, Korean ink and folk paintings, Paquimé-style pottery formed with Utah clay, Shoshone beadwork and medallions, traditional Puerto Rican festival masks including Vejigantes and Cabezudos, and hand-twined rag rugs inspired by Great Depression era techniques, among other works.
