Meet and greet dogs from Smidget Rescue. The dogs will be available for the entire event, so there is no need to arrive right at the beginning. Adoptions follow a process that includes an application, a reference check, and a home visit. Placements are not first come, first served, and same day adoptions are not available.

A free early childhood program where infants, toddlers, and preschoolers up to age five participate alongside a parent or caregiver. Families play together, create art, listen to stories, and sing songs. Sessions are available five days each week at four locations.

Share stories, sing songs, chant rhymes, and explore creative activities as a family to get ready for reading. Afterward, there may be time for play or an art activity.

This in-person presentation at Verdant Wellness Center is designed for parents and caregivers of youth ages 9 to 19, focusing on setting healthy screen boundaries and building teens’ emotional resilience. Dr. Jennifer Tininenko, a licensed clinical psychologist and Director of the Child Anxiety Center at the Evidence-Based Treatment Centers of Seattle, will share what research indicates about social media, gaming, and overall screen use, including how these habits relate to stress, sleep difficulties, and anxiety. Attendees can connect with others, exchange experiences, and learn practical strategies to reduce technology-related stress at home. Participants will leave with straightforward, immediate steps to create a more balanced relationship with devices and to support their teens’ well-being.

The museum extends its hours for a free evening, opening the Great Gallery, Personal Courage Wing, Simonyi Space Gallery, Aviation Pavilion and more for exploration. The store and café remain available throughout the evening. No reservation is required, and visitors are welcome to arrive at any time during the extended hours. Regular admission applies outside the free evening period.

Leo families and enthusiasts gather for a casual LeoWalk at the Marymoor Dog Park off-leash area in the Puget Sound region. The meet-up spot is the main dog park entry near Parking Lot D. Those interested in hosting a walk or activity in any LCNW region can contact the LCNW Board with a specific date and location, and once approved the board provides insurance coverage and adds it to the calendar.

Celebrate Taylor Swift’s music at a high-energy family matinee as Emily McVicker’s Swiftified brings fan favorites to life with a live band and interactive fun. All ages are welcome to arrive in era-inspired outfits, sing along, and dance while enjoying these songs together. This tribute event blends a welcoming, all-ages atmosphere with participatory moments and plenty of Swiftie spirit for an upbeat afternoon filled with familiar hits and community energy.

Brigid's Bottleshop hosts an evening of celebration and fundraising in support of employment services for people with disabilities. Work Opportunities joins Edmonds’ Community Ambassador Armando Ortiz to champion inclusive employment for all. The program is emceed by Fox 13 Meteorologist Brian MacMillan and features live music from Nikki & the Fast Times. A special appearance by the Mariner Moose is dependent on his game schedule. Admission is $25 and includes sandwiches, chips, and two raffle tickets. Guests can also purchase additional raffle tickets and take part in a silent auction with items such as autographed sports memorabilia, restaurant packages, and overnight stays. Friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors are invited to gather in support of the cause and enjoy a fun night together.
