Fused Glass: Garden Lanterns

Put these techniques into practice as you create four fused glass panels designed to illuminate a lantern. All glass materials are provided, and participants should bring a lantern frame to complete the project, such as a modern black LED solar lantern.

Speaker Gary Loverich presents the story of NET Systems, a business widely recognized on the Island for innovation dating back to the 1970s. Founded in 1978 as Nor’Eastern Trawl Systems by Loverich and Tom Croker, the company started with fishing systems and later broadened its work to netting used in many fields, including sports fields, catamarans, theme parks, construction, safety, and aerospace. Snacks and drinks will be available. Attendance is free for members, and there is a suggested $5 donation per person for non-members. Space is limited, so an RSVP is recommended.
