Season 5, Round 1 is a 1-slot constructed tournament limited to 32 entrants with a $30 entry fee and a cut to the Top 8. Regional Championship Qualifier promo items will be handed out in line with Wizards of the Coast and Star City Games guidelines. Current season pins are unavailable, and Star City Games has approved an alternate pin set for this event. Judging will be handled by either Jacob Long or Christian Harper. Players who reach the Top 8 receive store credit, with exact payouts and top-place amounts determined by final attendance. Deck lists are required and may be submitted by email to the store or on paper on the day of the event.

Designed for teens roughly ages 13 to 18, this summer camp at Marsh Music Studio nurtures aspiring Christian musicians and worship leaders in a band-focused setting. Campers rehearse together as vocalists and as players of guitar, piano, strings, drums, bass and more, with coaches mentoring them to grow their musical gifts in a faith-centered environment. Participants build skills in listening, creativity, collaboration and blending while applying the foundations of music and worship in a group context. Spectator viewing is free from the opening serve to the final matches at Battle Point Park on Bainbridge Island. With plenty of places to shop and dine around the island, it is easy to make a full outing of the day. September 11th Ceremony Vessel Flotilla Evergreen Park Bremerton WA

Maritime vessels are called to gather for the 25th Remembrance Ceremony at the Kitsap 9/11 Memorial in Bremerton. This on-water observance pays tribute to the spontaneous boat flotilla that aided rescue efforts in New York. Vessels will assemble on Port Washington Narrows near the Evergreen Rotary Park boat launch, between the Manette and Warren Ave bridges, and a speaker system will project the ceremony toward the water so those aboard can listen.

Sustainable Menstrual Kit Community Sew-In

A community sew in in the Poulsbo Lutheran Church Community Room in the basement welcomes volunteers of all ages, and no sewing experience is needed. Participants will help cut, stitch, and assemble sustainable menstrual health kits that support girls, women, and other menstruators in Kitsap County and in communities around the world. Snacks are provided, and bringing a sack lunch is optional. Volunteers from Kitsap, Bremerton, Silverdale, and Poulsbo are encouraged to take part. This effort aligns with the work of Days for Girls Poulsbo, part of a global movement focused on menstrual equity, health, dignity, and opportunity for all. The local chapter has distributed more than 7,000 kits in partnership with organizations such as Fishline Food Bank, Central Kitsap Food Bank, Bremerton Foodline, Etta Projects, and Lisa Stirrett’s Creative Warrior Studio. It is also an opportunity to learn more about the mission and ask questions.

Set out on a sensory journey with a screening of Migration of the Seebound Heart, a film that highlights how Carletta Carrington Wilson’s work shifts in meaning and form within a world in motion. A panel discussion follows with Wilson and collaborators Lauren Dudley, Whitney Bashaw, and Bubba Jones of Trial and Error Productions, along with an audience Q&A and a reception. Produced by Trial and Error Productions, this program is part of BIMA’s PRISM series, which brings art to life through films, concerts, artist talks, and community celebrations on BIMA’s stage, in its galleries, and beyond the museum. Wilson’s exhibition Object Lessons is also on view at BIMA this summer.

Settle into a calm, candlelit room where blankets and quiet invite you to fully unwind. Candlelit Rest & Sound offers a monthly reset that blends deeply supported restorative yoga with a soothing sound bath. Stephanie guides slow, comfortable poses with props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks, encouraging complete relaxation in a way that feels like intentional rest. As you soften, the resonant tones of crystal singing bowls, gongs, and other instruments create a gentle soundscape that supports meditation and a sense of ease. No experience is needed. Wear whatever feels cozy, including pajamas and fuzzy socks, and bring a yoga mat, water, and any crystals or personal items you would like cleared and refreshed by the sound. This experience takes place at the iGi Fitness BLUE ZONE in Port Orchard and is limited to 13 participants for an intimate setting. Pricing is 22 dollars for adults and 18 dollars for teens, seniors 65 and older, and veterans. For safety, anyone who is pregnant, has a pacemaker or metal implants, or has other medical concerns should consult a doctor before attending a yoga class and sound bath.

Stroll across signature bridges, meet others along the way, and uncover stories that highlight the community’s past and present. The day features a family friendly community walk that showcases what makes the area special, a guided history experience with local historian Josh Farley through notable sites downtown, and a citywide passport challenge that sends participants to landmarks and cultural spots to collect stamps for a prize. The festivities conclude inside a landmark Bremerton theater with an evening of storytelling, history, and conversation. Expect scenic waterfront views, plenty of photo moments, and activities suited for all ages that support the local community. Suitable for newcomers and experienced players alike. Instruments are available to borrow, and personal drums and percussion are also welcome. This is a donation-based gathering, and participation is open regardless of ability to pay. The goal is to make rhythm, sound, and community accessible to everyone.

Fall Wreath Workshop in Historical Downtown Poulsbo

Amytiques hosts a hands-on fall wreath workshop at SEA Discovery Center in historic downtown Poulsbo. Create a custom wreath using an ample selection of natural dried and preserved evergreens, a wide range of eucalyptus varieties and colors, magnolia leaves, pinecones, dried orange slices, and other decorative touches. Choose your preferred building method by hand wrapping with paddle wire or by working with a clamp wreath base using a wreath clamp machine on site. All tools and materials are provided for use during the session, including an apron, gloves, pruning shears, wire cutters, paddle wire, wreath bases, and hot glue guns. Images used in promotions are examples to show what is possible and your finished wreath will reflect your own choices. Tickets are nonrefundable if you cancel, though you may transfer your spot to someone else. A switch to a different workshop may be possible and would be arranged individually.

A welcoming community gathering at the Seabeck Community Center blends an interactive drum circle with a restorative sound meditation. It begins with improvisational rhythm led by trained facilitators who create a supportive space for creative expression, play, and connection. No prior drumming experience is required, and instruments are provided, though personal drums and percussion are welcome. After the rhythm-making, participants transition into a mind, body, and spirit sound meditation guided by a local sound healing practitioner, encouraging deep relaxation, inner healing, and connection with the Divine. For comfort while resting on the floor, attendees may bring a yoga mat, blankets, pillows, or an eye mask. A limited number of chairs is available for accessibility needs. This gathering is donation-based, inviting monetary contributions in whatever amount feels comfortable.
