Competitive pinball returns to Lynnwood Bowl and Skate with a multi-day championship open to players of all ages and skill levels. Qualifying runs on multiple days using card-based play across distinct machine banks, followed by finals that decide champions in several divisions. The schedule now includes an additional full day of qualifying, which expands the finals. Classics will advance 40 players, and Charity will advance 24. Up to three CERTIFIED+ opportunities are planned, contributing to a total of five IFPA-sanctioned competitions, and the series remains part of the Stern Pro Circuit. Open and Charity qualifiers use five-game cards, with the best two cards determining rank, and the Open bank features ten or more machines. Classics uses four-game cards from a bank of eight, with the top two cards counting. The Women’s qualifier follows the same card-based approach from a six-game bank, and the best two cards count toward placement. Finals procedures prevent competitors from selecting the same machine more than once across all rounds. At the start of each round, players choose the games and player order for the entire three-game set. Registration is limited to 160 players. A $50 registration fee is required to participate. A limited Pinhead package is available for $125 and includes registration, one card for Open, Classics, and Charity, plus an event T-shirt. Individual cards are priced at $20 for Open, $15 for Classics, $15 for Women’s, and $20 for Charity. All funds from tournament tickets and cards are returned to players as prize money, supplemented by sponsor contributions. Finalists receive cash awards, and the top four take home trophies or plaques. Finals coverage will be streamed, with additional qualifying broadcasts as available, in partnership with GeekGamer.TV. Additional activities include a charity drive, swag raffles, and more. A consolation group progressive 11-strike competition on the Classics bank is also planned, open to anyone for a $10 signup, limited to 48 players, with a trophy for the winner and payouts to the top four.

The City of Kenmore brings its Summer Concert Series to the lawn at Saint Edward State Park. Bring a low chair or a blanket for comfortable lawn seating. A Discover Pass is required to park within the park, and an automated pay station is available for purchasing a day or annual pass. Concert parking is available at Saint Edward State Park. There are 10 ADA parking spots near the concert area, with additional ADA spaces throughout the park. Summer evenings on the Edmonds waterfront come alive as Mountlake Terrace Jazz and friends perform at Sea Notes at the Marina. Enjoy a relaxed, open-air jam with scenic marina views. Lake Sammamish Run Club hosts Thursday group runs, rain or shine. During the summer months, the meetup spot shifts to the Bridle Trails Grocery Outlet parking lot to access mostly soft trail surfaces. On fourth Thursdays, the route follows Bridle Trails in a clockwise direction with 4 and 5 mile options. After the run, participants gather for dinner at Thirsty Hop.

Riders can take on trail obstacles, and schooling over fences will be offered in Ring 2. It provides a low pressure way to explore new disciplines and put lesson time to work in the ring, whether you are new to showing, curious about trail, or just starting to jump. Ribbons will be awarded through eighth place. Division champions are based on the high point horse and rider pair and will receive a prize. Entry uses a token system. Purchase one $15 token for each class you plan to ride and give the token to the gate attendant when you enter. Advance entry is encouraged through the Ring Radar system. Fees include an office fee of $30 for advance entries or $40 for post entries, an LWSC nonmember fee of $40, tokens at $15 each, or a $130 all day pass. Members must be listed or provide proof of membership payment. Walk up registration is welcome. Day stalls are available for $25 when requested during online entry. The Lime & Who’s 19th Hole Invitational returns to the Golf Course at Redmond Ridge with a charity tournament focused on community and fun. The event features an 18-hole scramble with a shotgun start, plus cold drinks, raffles, on-course games, and a post-round party. It benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities and BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse). Expect the return of the lighthearted heckling hole that keeps the laughs coming between shots. Clear out bulky foam clutter by bringing clean Styrofoam to a free collection in the west lot at McCollum Park, next to the former swimming pool area. Snohomish County WSU Sustainable Community Stewards will be on site to receive materials, and the Marysville Food Bank will transport everything to Styro Recycle in Kent. The collection window is brief and truck space is limited, so service will end once the vehicle is full, and materials will not be accepted before the official start time. Items must be clean, dry, and free of tape and labels. Acceptable materials include Styrofoam takeout containers and food trays, bagged packing peanuts that are not the biodegradable kind, bubble wrap, LPDE #4 foam, block packaging, coolers, sheets, and pink, blue, or gray XPS foam insulation. Not accepted are spray-in foam, Insta-Pak foams including gray versions, foil-lined foam, and hot tub covers. Food or monetary donations to the Marysville Food Bank are encouraged. Families can cool off with The Busy Bee Hive Activity Cart and a rotating selection of water toys, sidewalk chalk, hula hoops, hopscotch, jump ropes, and other hands-on games that encourage creativity and movement. No registration is required. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times while on the property.
