Tai Chi Class

A new Tai Chi class is available, led by instructors Tom Fletcher and Barbara LaRowe on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tai Chi, an ancient Chinese martial art, features slow, continuous movements paired with relaxed breathing to encourage calm. The practice engages large stabilizer muscles to support balance, coordination, and flexibility, and its quiet focus can ease stress, improve sleep, and help protect memory. Tom and Barbara are certified in ten Tai Chi forms and bring seventeen years of teaching and practice. This free class is open to the community, with four sessions offered each week.
