In This Together: Dementia Caregiver Support
In This Together is a supportive group for people caring for a loved one with dementia. It offers a place to connect with others who truly understand, to share experiences, practical ideas for everyday care, and encouragement for the challenges that come with changing memory and abilities. Sessions also draw on materials from the START (Strategies for Relatives) program from the Division of Psychology at University College London, which is designed to strengthen coping skills and emotional resilience for caregivers. A Compatibility Call is required before attending for the first time. Everyone is welcome as they are. No perfect words or polished story are needed... simply being alongside others who understand can make a meaningful difference, and the guiding message is that no one has to face this alone.
