A girls hockey skills camp at Sauk Prairie Ice Arena brings together an all-female coaching team to deliver focused development for youth players. It is open to girls ages 7 to 17 who are proficient in skating skills, with sessions organized into two groups, ages 7 to 11 and 12 to 17, so instruction fits each stage of growth. Across multiple sessions, participants train for 4.5 hours on the ice and 3 hours off the ice. Coaching emphasizes skating technique, edge control, stickhandling, shooting and overall individual improvement. The experience includes photo and autograph opportunities with professional players, a Q&A, and a Future Stars jersey for each participant. Instruction is led by PWHL athletes Marlène Boissonnault of the Minnesota Frost, a Walter Cup champion, Emily Brown of the Seattle Torrent and Anneke Linser of the Toronto Sceptres, joined by NCAA Division III players Hadley Malcolmson and Zoe Sternberg. The cost is $385, or reserve a spot with a $150 deposit and pay the remaining $235 30 days before the camp.

Lake Wisconsin Country Club hosts the 7th annual golf outing, designed for a full day of play and camaraderie. Wo Zha Wa fest brings live music to Riverwalk Pub Food & Spirits, where a rustic setting and wide timber decks offer plenty of outdoor seating with views of the upper Dells stretch of the Wisconsin River. Take in the fresh air and the show with food and drinks available. The Last Minute Heroes deliver radio-friendly party rock powered by seasoned Midwest players who have performed across Minnesota and the surrounding five-state region in bands such as Hitfaced, Aultimate Ozzy, Under the Covers, Rock Godz, and RadioNation. Their set is packed with danceable, singalong favorites like TNT, My Own Worst Enemy, Billie Jean, Smells Like Teen Spirit, All the Small Things, Sweet Home Alabama, Hard to Handle, Sweet Child O Mine, All Summer Long, We’re Not Gonna Take It, Basket Case, Enter Sandman, Joy to the World, Rock and Roll, Fight for Your Right to Party, Blister in the Sun, and Faith.

The District hosts a live solo set by Taylor Schereck, a Madison area performer with a powerful voice. Expect a crowd-responsive mix centered on hits from the 90s and 2000s, with 80s throwbacks and pop favorites woven in as the mood fits. Schereck is also a songwriter, currently developing a twelve song album that blends rock, alternative, pop and metal. The experience comes with views and a menu that includes smash burgers, quesadillas, chicken and milkshakes.

Mama's Garage hosts SWING CREW with additional musicians onstage, bumper stickers, and beer. A beer special named for the band is available for three dollars, and there is no admission charge.

Begin the morning with an all-levels movement warmup on the barn lawn beside the ranch lounge, then flow into a blended yogalates practice that unites yoga postures with Pilates principles to build strength, flexibility, and balance. Instructors lead the group from the ranch entrance to the lawn to set a peaceful tone outdoors. Pedal a scenic stretch of the Elroy-Sparta State Trail with a community ride hosted by the Connection Team of New Life Community AC Church. The route begins in Kendall, includes a half-mile walk through the first tunnel, continues with about two more miles of riding, then follows a back route to Dorsett School Restaurant for a lunch break. The out-and-back distance totals roughly 12 miles, with about two hours of ride time plus time to relax and eat. This outing welcomes both seasoned cyclists and casual riders. A standard trail pass is required. Participants should bring a bicycle and a flashlight for the tunnel. More details will be shared by the organizers.

The Hope House Motorcycle Ride takes place at Frankie's Bar. Riders are $20.00 and passengers are $10.00. The scenic route includes the ferry in Merrimac. All vehicles are welcome.

Explore the legacy of Leopold and his family on a guided visit that highlights their early restoration efforts. Step inside the Shack, then walk through prairie and woodland that have been brought back to health along the Wisconsin River as guides share the story of the land and its renewal. Ticket purchases are restricted to groups of ten or fewer, and advance registration is appreciated. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors 62 and older and for young adults ages 11 to 17, and $1.50 for children 10 and under.

A live drawing will determine the color values of poker chips for Peg & Doc’s Summer Fun Poker Run. Participants purchase a scorecard and visit the participating stops, drawing four chips at each bar as bartenders record the colors. The chip color values are set during the drawing at Peg & Doc’s, and presence is not required to claim any winnings. Funds from the poker run are shared with winners, with the remainder donated to multiple organizations, groups, or departments based on the number of scorecards sold.

Free safety gear will be available while supplies last, with life jackets and first aid kits provided through support from a Healthy Community Partnership Grant from the SSM Health St. Clare Foundation. Children must be present to be fitted for life jackets and helmets. The event is planned to proceed in light drizzle, but will be canceled in the case of heavy rain, lightning, or other severe weather. Quantities are limited, so early arrival is encouraged.

Skillet Creek Campground hosts a live performance by singer-songwriter Andy Braun, featuring folk-rock favorites and contemporary originals. The set spans music from the 1950s through today, with familiar tunes connected to Johnny Cash, CCR, the Beatles, Jimmy Buffett, Tom Petty, Elvis, Neil Young, and others. Braun also showcases original material from his albums Shameless Attempts and 22, available on major streaming platforms. The event is open to everyone.

The District hosts live blues from Dave Potter and his hometown combo. After years performing across southern Wisconsin and backing touring blues artists throughout the Midwest with a rotating support group, Dave has returned to Wisconsin Dells to lead local musicians and share a broad mix of blues. The experience pairs live music with views and comfort food favorites like smash burgers, quesadillas, chicken, and milkshakes, offering a hangout for fans of live tunes and tasty bites.

Boomtown Saloon, a country music bar established in 2015, serves Nashville inspired food to a steady country soundtrack and regularly welcomes live performers. Jack Willems brings an energetic show shaped by early voice lessons, a guitar picked up in middle school, and a lifelong connection to country music. His songs reflect themes of the outdoors, family, and faith, and he first built his set list by entertaining friends in basements and around backyard campfires. A house party rendition of Wagon Wheel recorded on a friend’s phone went viral on TikTok, earning more than 3.5 million views in two weeks. On stage he aims to get the crowd singing along to his outdoor-influenced, Midwest style of rocking country.

Serving as the culminating event of the Wisconsin Tri Series, this sprint triathlon takes place at Devil’s Lake State Park. The course begins with a quarter-mile swim in Devil’s Lake, continues with a 15-mile bike ride through the Baraboo bluffs, and concludes with a 5K run within the park.

Now in its fourth year, this event features four NCCC sanctioned game and poker rallies that weave through the scenic countryside of rural Wisconsin. The route begins at Bill Fuchs Park in Sauk City and concludes at On the Rox in Roxbury. Tech inspection and registration are handled at the start before the driving and game play gets underway.

A daylong celebration of consciousness, community, and play comes to Common Gardens in Dane, Wisconsin, with 16 artists sharing music with heart, inspired by love, nature, humanity, and life’s big questions. The roster features Cassidy Lund, Jeff Burkhart, Candace Griffin, Dana Perry, Melissa Kieler, Paul Otteson, Jeffrey James, Kevin Mason, Old Oaks Duo, Whitney Rose, Uncle Jim, Kelly Hepper, Sam Ness, Derek Ranmarace & Friends, M Shays, and Def Sonic. Admission follows a pay-what-you-can approach with a suggested contribution of $20 to support the artists and the space. No alcohol is provided, though attendees may bring their own beer, and the Banzo food truck will be onsite. Guests are asked to help care for the land by using trash and recycling stations, parking only in designated areas, keeping track of belongings, and leaving dogs at home.

Ukulele enthusiasts from around the Midwest gather at Smokey Hollow Campground in Lodi, Wisconsin for several days of music and camaraderie. The event features plenty of strumming and sing-alongs, opportunities to build skills, and a mix of playful activities. Participants can step up for open mic sessions and enjoy shared potluck meals, creating a relaxed atmosphere focused on playing, learning, and connecting.

Miss Tamara leads a playful session of music and movement with singing, rhyming, counting, and other engaging activities. The program helps children practice social and cooperative skills, strengthens language and communication, nurtures musical awareness and a sense of rhythm, supports early literacy and phonics skills, deepens understanding of counting and patterns, and builds confidence with group play. It offers an outlet for energy and laughter through play-based learning. Participation is included with admission.

This session offers brief, one-on-one help with questions about public benefits. An Elder Benefit Specialist will be available to provide answers. Attendees are assisted in the order they arrive, and each consultation is limited to 15 minutes.

This orientation welcomes both newcomers and longtime helpers who want to learn more about 6:8. Participants will hear the story behind the organization, explore its mission and vision, and review current ways to contribute. There will be an opportunity to sign up for volunteer roles, and attending does not require a commitment.

This program features a garden talk focused on practical ways to use freshly harvested produce from the garden. A kids craft is also included, giving children the chance to create their own bird feeder.

Miss Pat leads a weekly guided craft, featuring hands-on projects that may include painting, cutting, or gluing. Each session focuses on simple steps and creative expression so participants can leave with something they are proud of. This activity is included with admission and is subject to Miss Pat’s availability.

After School Art Club returns for fall with teaching artist Jyneal Radke. Designed for students in grades 3 to 5, this six-week series meets after school each week for hands-on exploration of new art concepts. Participants experiment with a different idea every session, then create a project inspired by what they discover. At the end of each class, students can show their work to classmates. All supplies are provided, and no prior experience is required. The program fee is $75.
