For more than four decades, the Oconomowoc Summer Farmers’ Market has offered a welcoming, weekly gathering for the community. Organized by the Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce and typically held at the Bank Five Nine Campus Lot, it features seasonal produce, herbs and spices, soups, handcrafted goods, baked items, garden plants, honey, cheeses, jams, canned specialties, maple syrup, breads, and farm-fresh eggs and meats. This annual ride honors and supports firefighters, police officers, and EMTs in observance of 9/11 and departs from The Silver Eagle Saloon. Voices for HOPE, the Jefferson County Suicide Prevention Team, hosts the second annual Color the Path for Hope, a 5K color fun run and walk focused on bringing hope and raising community awareness. The course is set at Brandt-Quirk Park. A vendor area will share information on local resources and businesses. Registration is $25 per person, with a group rate available, and children 4 and under participate for free. Those who register by the specified deadline receive a complimentary T-shirt, and availability is not guaranteed afterward. The event wraps up once all participants have finished the route.
