Party for the Arts 2026 - LIVE from GREEN LAKE, it's SATURDAY NIGHT!

Thrasher Opera House, 506 Mill St, Green Lake · verified Sep 13
    See details

Thrasher Opera House hosts a high-spirited comedy gala that channels the energy of a legendary late night sketch show, pairing live entertainment and interactive games with themed cocktails, tasty bites, and a few surprise opening moments. Guests are welcome to arrive in character, whether inspired by Stefon, Mary Katherine Gallagher, The Church Lady, Matt Foley, the Spartan Cheerleaders, Debbie Downer, or David S. Pumpkins. The look is only half of it, since fully embracing the persona... awkward, overconfident, chaotic, or perfectly deadpan... brings the theme to life. This year, every part of the celebration unfolds inside the Opera House due to an office renovation, with a relaxed cocktail-style format and themed appetizers curated by Chef Trent Hazelberg. Seating is available at two person or four person tables. Extras such as a wine pull, dessert pull, and raffle tickets can be purchased in advance, with details sent by email ahead of the party. Expect the same high-caliber entertainment that defines this annual fundraiser, along with high-stakes raffles and auctions. An on-site after-party keeps the evening going once the official program concludes. Proceeds benefit Thrasher Opera House, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to live music, local art, youth theatre, and preserving a Green Lake landmark, while also boosting the local economy through the arts. Presented with support from Mike and Jill Havey, Havey Communications, and Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate Special Properties.
