6 SPOTS LEFT! Oct 23rd ADVANCED Workshop Tan-A-Latte

    Tan-A-Latte, 122 S Main St, Jefferson · verified Sep 13
    See details

An advanced, hands-on blanket workshop takes place at Tan-A-Latte, created for returning students who have completed a prior session with the instructor. Patience is important because everyone will be working on different projects while receiving one-on-one guidance. Being mostly comfortable working independently and with the side loop is preferred, and the instructor will assist with starting, finishing, and color changes. Drinks from the venue are available to enjoy while creating. Attendance is capped at eight to allow for individual instruction. Projects focus on larger lap blankets, and each registration includes eight skeins of yarn. The session is planned for four hours, though many participants may need less time. An email to select colors will be sent about four weeks before the workshop. Thirteen designs are offered with varying prices and details. Choices include Large Lap Basic Knit in up to three colors for 110 dollars, Fall Rainbow for 120 dollars, Neon Rainbow for 120 dollars, Watermelon for 130 dollars that calls for a tighter knit to achieve the seed effect, Mini Hearts in either stripe or random styles for 130 dollars with heart colors chosen from on-hand options and a tighter knit recommended, Herringbone or Broken Herringbone for 130 dollars with an approximate size around 50 by 48 inches, Seed Stitch for 130 dollars, Broken Rib Stitch for 130 dollars, Santa Suit and Elf Suit for 140 dollars that are more detailed with extra color changes and require a firm knit, and America for 120 dollars. Most designs use about eight skeins, and finished dimensions are approximate and will vary with loop size and tension. Those who prefer not to wait for individual help may wish to schedule a private workshop.
