Now in its third year, this 5K raises funds for medical or therapeutic treatments that support the mental wellness of Ashland Fire Department firefighters experiencing PTSD. The course starts at the fire department, heads to the Town Center Mall, makes three laps around the outer edge of the mall parking area, and returns to the starting point. Registration is offered at $25, $30, or $35 depending on the registration window. All registered participants receive a race shirt, and breakfast pizzas will be available after the race from Rocky Top Pizza.

The 2026 West Virginia Tri-State Walk for Apraxia is a free community gathering at Barboursville Park, Shelter 9, centered on celebrating Apraxia Stars and supporting children with childhood apraxia of speech. Families, friends, and professionals come together for a safe, fun, and memorable walk experience while raising funds for Apraxia Kids.
