Huck’s Herd brings the story of Rick Huckabay, one of Marshall University’s most winning and cherished men’s basketball coaches, to the screen at the Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center, a historic venue. Directed by 11-time Emmy Award winner Tim Hardiman and produced by Terry Bumgarner, the documentary follows Huckabay’s ascent and downfall, drawing on interviews with former players, coaches, and Marshall figures to illuminate one of the program’s most successful and debated eras. The premiere offers more than a screening. Before the film, Ricky Huckabay, the coach’s oldest son, will perform an acoustic set. Andy Huckabay, the coach’s youngest son and executive producer of Huck’s Herd, along with director Tim Hardiman, will deliver brief opening remarks to introduce the documentary.

The Kevin Prater Band brings its seasoned bluegrass to Kentucky Bluebird Grill & Pub, led by mandolinist and vocalist Kevin Prater.
