Four Horsemen Comics & Gaming in Morgantown hosts a Core Constructed Disney Lorcana league event that blends strategic deck building with adventures featuring familiar Disney characters. Play is organized as a timed Swiss tournament with multiple rounds. Deck construction is limited to the Core card pool, which includes Fabled, Whispers in the Well, Winterspell, Wilds Unknown, Attack of the Vine, and Hyperia City. Cards from earlier sets may be used if they have been reprinted in a Core-legal release. Entry is $5. Every participant receives a Disney Lorcana booster pack at the end, and additional prizes such as promo cards may be randomly awarded based on attendance. Participation counts toward the store’s Lorcana League, where players can earn points and take part in season giveaways, with more details shared through the 4HM Lorcana Facebook Group.

A community Trunk-or-Treat brings festive contests, treats, and family-friendly fun with the Reedsville Volunteer Fire Department. Local fire departments can dress up their apparatus for a decorating showdown where attendees vote and the top entry earns a trophy along with bragging rights. Participants can also transform car trunks into creative Halloween displays for a best decorated award. A pumpkin carving showcase will feature entries judged by public vote, with a trophy for the favorite. Free hot dogs and s’mores will be available for everyone. Costumes are welcome, and visitors can explore the displays, cast votes, and enjoy a spirited Halloween evening. Halloween lovers, businesses, organizations, and families are encouraged to take part by decorating a trunk and handing out treats to kids, since a bigger lineup makes the experience even more festive.
