Archers from across Alabama gather at Eastgate Park Archery Range in Dothan for a statewide ARPA championship hosted by Dothan Leisure Services. The tournament is open to recreation athletes participating in ARPA programs and features Youth Divisions as well as a Therapeutic Division, creating inclusive competition for athletes of all abilities. Eligible youth archers are ages 10 to 18, and Therapeutics participants are 18 and older. The event emphasizes sportsmanship in a welcoming environment and brings together athletes, families, and coaches.

Deep South Para-Comi-Con is seeking volunteers to help bring a paranormal convention to life at the Enterprise Civic Center. Volunteers receive admission to enjoy the convention while off duty, special volunteer credentials, opportunities to meet featured guests and speakers, and a behind the scenes look at event operations.
