Dothan Chess Club meets weekly at Mural City Coffee Co. in Downtown Dothan. The gathering is free and open to the public, welcoming players of all ages and experience levels. Games take place upstairs in the back conference room, and there is elevator access for anyone with mobility needs. If you arrive before others, please wait a bit, as participants often filter in shortly after things get underway.

A monthly jigsaw puzzle swap at the Main Library offers a friendly way to refresh your collection. Bring as many puzzles as you wish to exchange and choose new ones to take home. All sizes are welcome, from 100 to 1000 pieces and beyond. Used puzzles are fine as long as they are in good condition and include every piece. Trading is optional and handled directly between participants.

Discover a hands-on paper crafting studio at the Daleville Public Library, offering space for scrapbooking, junk journaling, card making, coloring, planner decorating, and other creative projects. Work on personal pieces or start something new with access to library paper crafting tools and supplies in the Activity Room and Makerspace. The environment is friendly and low pressure, inviting newcomers and experienced crafters to create, learn, and connect. Teens, adults, and families are welcome. Registration is not required.

A welcoming yoga session led by Tej is open to every body and experience level, with a simple idea at its heart... if you can breathe, you can practice. Tej brings more than 800 hours of certified yoga training and four years of teaching experience to each session, offering thoughtful guidance in a supportive setting. Admission is free. The Wiregrass Heritage Festival brings an outdoor concert to the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds in Dothan, featuring performances by Marcellus The Singer, West Love, Cupid, Tonio Armani, Young Guy, Anthony Q, Breeze MrDo2Much and Mr. Campbell with DJ Trucker, hosted by comedian MC Lightfoot. Attendees may bring chairs, soft-sided coolers and umbrellas. Glass containers, grills and RVs are not permitted, reentry is not allowed, all sales are final and the event takes place rain or shine. Tickets are available online and at TT Fashion in Dothan, with a limited VIP option that offers a dedicated entrance, credentials for a private section front and center at the stage and fixed seating where no personal chair is needed, and a seat cushion is recommended.
