Admission is $5 per swimmer with a $15 family cap, and members swim free. Reserve a spot on Eventbrite, then pay in person upon arrival since ticket purchases are not processed through Eventbrite. This is part of the school’s weekly Open Swim offerings.

Marking the tenth anniversary of Not One More Alabama, this free community walk at Big Spring Park in Huntsville brings people together to uplift recovery, remember loved ones, build connections, and learn about local treatment, recovery, and support resources. A nationally recognized media journalist with more than 19 years at CNN and founder of Nick Valencia News will share an inspiring message. The Recovery Circle, a signature moment of the walk, honors recovery at every stage, from one day to 40 plus years. Participants can create or support fundraising teams that help NOMA offer free awareness and educational programs and advance plans for a new Recovery Resource Center in Huntsville. The event also features free temporary tattoos, photo opportunities, refreshments, and more. Community support has helped NOMA grow from a grassroots effort in 2016 into a strong nonprofit focused on reducing stigma and strengthening the recovery community.

Celebrate National Health Center Week at Butler Green Park with a free, family friendly block party presented by Thrive Alabama, HAPPI Health, and Central North Alabama Health Services, Inc. Enjoy live music from radio personality DJ Lashay B and an energetic performance by the Huntsville Drumline. Kids and teens can hop into gaming fun with the Zone Mobile Entertainment video game truck. The first 100 attendees receive complimentary food, and there will be giveaways while supplies last. Explore on-site health screenings and a wide variety of local resource booths. Take part in the Community Passport Challenge, visit booths to collect stamps, then enter for a chance to win prizes.
