The Gift of Life River Region Community Action Team (Consortia) hosts a candlelight memorial in observance of International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. All who have experienced the loss of a pregnancy, an infant, or a loved one who died in childbirth are welcome. The gathering includes the sounding of a bell and the reading of names to honor those remembered, along with readings and music that celebrate their lives. Featuring five passes, mainly deeds of arms a plaisance with some a outrance, this gathering honors the fourteenth century knight Geoffrey de Charny. It welcomes interested combatants from related communities including SCA, SMA, EMP, Bohurt, HEMA, and reenactment. The tournament is armored and uses a mix of synthetic baleen weapons, batons, and rebated steel. Bouts follow a challenge format, so combatants choose their opponents and the terms of their fights. Colors United hosts a social meetup for LGBTQIA+ young adults ages 19 to 29. It provides a safe, moderated space to connect with peers, build community, and unwind. Activities typically include sharing pizza, playing games, and spending time together.

Trumpet virtuoso Mary Elizabeth Bowden appears with the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra for Masterworks I: Brass & Bernstein.
