COSA CARES is offering a new recovery meeting for women, and it is free to attend.

A welcoming community drum circle at The Sanctuary, Jubilee Community Center brings people of all ages and musical backgrounds together to create shared rhythms, connect with others, and celebrate community through music. No prior experience is needed, just curiosity and a willing spirit. Some drums, sticks, and shakers are available, and participants may also bring their own percussion such as sticks, shakers, small boxes, plastic bowls, or simply use their hands. Prattville Rotary Club hosts a weekly meeting centered on fellowship, community connections, and service. Montgomery Pride United offers a support group for transgender, gender nonconforming, and questioning adults age 19 and older. It provides a comfortable space to talk about challenges and share successes with peers at the Bayard Rustin Community Center. The group is facilitated by a transgender peer specialist certified by the State of Alabama.
