At Fort Smith Convention Center, world-renowned storm chaser Reed Timmer leads an adrenaline-charged evening that dives into the heart of extreme weather. Expect actual storm video, gripping chase stories, and an energetic live talk that brings the power and science of severe storms to life. The program lets the audience feel the force of nature without leaving their seats. There is an opportunity to meet Reed, with a photo and a Storm Dominator sticker included. Reed Timmer is an extreme meteorologist and storm chaser who intercepts some of the planet’s most powerful storms to collect valuable scientific data. He holds a Ph.D. in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma, has documented more than 1,000 tornadoes and 50 hurricanes, and has pursued both an EF5 tornado and a Category 5 hurricane. Since 2020 he has driven the Dominator 3 directly into 10 tornadoes, and he holds the distinction of having been inside more tornadoes than any other storm chaser.
