The kids dash gathers at the main start area and participants are guided to their starting spot. The day opens with the National Anthem, and after you cross the finish line you can find live results and awards at the registration tent. Registration perks include a specially designed race shirt, a commemorative finisher medal, chip timing with real-time results for the timed distances, complimentary photos, and post-race snacks. Half marathon, 10k, and 5k entries include a custom race bib, shirt, and medal. The 1 mile is untimed and also comes with a bib, shirt, and medal. The kids dash is an untimed run for ages 10 and under, and a paid entry includes a mini bib, a youth-sized shirt, and a medal created for this event. Children may participate in the dash at no cost if they choose to skip the included items. Youth pricing is available for the 5k and 10k, with entries for ages 12 and under priced at $17. Death by 5k returns to Tulsa for its fourth year with a round-the-clock challenge on the paved river trail, starting and finishing at River West 23rd St Park and crossing the river twice. The format stacks ten 5k runs at set intervals and requires participants to be at the line for every start, completing each segment before the next one begins. The design pushes both body and mind with mounting fatigue, limited sleep, and miles in the dark, and a headlamp, hand light, or other illumination is required for nighttime sections. Between efforts, participants may sleep in cars or pitch tents in the grass, with plenty of room for pop up or camping tents, and leaving the venue between 5ks is allowed. Prepared meals will be provided at multiple points, with snacks available throughout along with water and Gatorade. Participants receive an event shirt and additional swag, and those who complete the full challenge earn a coveted coffin award. Registration is initially limited to 300 entrants, followed by a waitlist and potential expansion as space allows. Tulsa’s edition has a reputation for unpredictable conditions, from heat and hail to high winds and heavy rain.

The Northeastern Oklahoma Region SCCA hosts a weekend of autocross with a double-header featuring Events 9 and 10 of the 2026 season at Davis Field in Muskogee. SCCA members pay 40 dollars for one day or 70 dollars for the full weekend. Non-members are 60 dollars for a single day or 90 dollars for both days, and that includes a Weekend Membership. Each driver is guaranteed at least six runs, with eight runs typical. Free fun runs are planned after the first day’s competition. Drag Drive Repeat brings Route 66 Roundup, a single day drag and drive competition presented by Velocity Motorsports LLC, to Tulsa Raceway Park alongside Tulsa Midnight Drags and Import Face-Off. Drivers with quick street cars can put them to the test in a welcoming setting for both first timers and seasoned racers. Competitors record one official pass during Tulsa Midnight Drags, complete an 85 plus mile road drive, then return during Import Face-Off to make additional attempts in search of their best timeslip. One slip from each session is used, and the two times are averaged to set the final standings. Awards cap the program. Early registration is optional and includes special swag packs and entry into drawings for a range of giveaways.

Grand Finale Weekend wraps up the Northeastern Oklahoma Region SCCA 2026 season with Events 11 and 12 at Davis Field in Muskogee. SCCA members can enter for $40 for one day or $70 for both days, while non-members are $60 for one day or $90 for both days and that includes a Weekend Membership. Drivers will make at least six runs, with eight runs common, and free fun runs are offered after the Saturday competition. Each day follows a familiar flow, beginning with site opening, then tech inspection, a course walk and orientation, a required drivers’ meeting for competitors, cars moving to grid with worker check-in, and the first car heading out. A trophy presentation takes place after competition concludes on Sunday. Please bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
