This monthly First Friday tradition in downtown Hot Springs invites the community to explore art, music, and creativity during an evening Gallery Walk. Galleries across the downtown area open with new shows, spotlighted artists, live music, and other special experiences, offering a relaxed way to enjoy and support the local arts scene. Stroll at a comfortable pace, pop into spaces that spark your curiosity, and see what the creative community is showcasing. A map of confirmed participating galleries will be shared the week of the event, and updates to the gallery lineup or schedule will be added as they become available.

Opening night brings Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street to Downtown Hot Springs in a staging from The Pocket Community Theatre. Dan Breshears stars as Sweeney Todd, with Tami Kendall as Mrs. Lovett. The principal cast also features Isaac Walker as Anthony Hope, Isaella Reynolds as Johanna, Eian Sams as Tobias Ragg, David Fleming as Judge Turpin, Trae Warner as The Beadle, Amy Hronek as the Beggar Woman, and Jennifer Johnson as Adolfo Pirelli. A large ensemble rounds out the world of the show, including Adrian Santiago, Amanda Goudeau, Ella Blumson, Ashley Reynolds, Ava Shepherd, Ben Buchanan, Catherine Blakley, DeLainey Brown, Ethan Treat, Gabby Gilbert, Grace Clowers, Isabella Bates, Hunter French, Jack Chamberlain, Jay Nehus, Jenna Tillery, Jerrod Goudeau, John Sullivan, Jonathan Sarazua, Katie Potts, Kevin Brown, Lewis Sanders, Mara Magdalene, Marta Eliza Miller, Rayhana Neal, Stacy Breshears, Stephanie Shaw, Ted DeWeese, Trinity Bugaj, Victoria Hale, and Zoey Lawless. James Kendall directs, with Leon Cabibi-Wilkin as assistant director. Music direction is by Emily Cooper with Tianna Moore as assistant music director, voice coaching by Dianne Kesling, production and sound by Bonnie Maisen, and technical support from Zorianna Simpson, Addie Maisen, and Joshua Grandon. Wrongly cast out, the barber Sweeney Todd returns to 19th-century London intent on revenge against the corrupt judge who destroyed his family. He crosses paths with Mrs. Lovett, the sharp-witted owner of a struggling pie shop, and reopens his chair above her business. Their partnership takes a grisly turn as a shocking new filling boosts the popularity of her pastries, drawing crowds across the city while the violence mounts and the bloodshed is only beginning.

42 Dugg is scheduled to perform live at The Hall in Little Rock. The show starts at 8:00 PM.

An infamous story unfolds as Sweeney Todd, a barber wrongfully banished, comes back to nineteenth century London determined to take revenge on the corrupt judge who wrecked his family. He opens a barbershop above Mrs. Lovett’s struggling pie shop, and their partnership quickly turns gruesome when his killings become the secret ingredient in her pies. Word spreads, crowds grow, and the violence escalates, driving a relentless path of retribution through the city.

Get ready for a high-energy 2000s rave at The Hall, featuring remixed limewire-era classics all night long. The event is 18+ and the crowd will be dancing like it’s 2003. Tickets are general admission and standing-room only on the floor and mezzanine, with limited first-come seating available for mezzanine ticket holders (mezzanine is 21+ only).

Amber Violet brings a night of live music to Dugan's Pub, and the menu includes the pub's well known cheese sticks to start. A singer songwriter active in recent years, she has appeared at festivals, intimate listening venues, and private events across Arkansas and the surrounding area. Performing with guitar and keyboard, she blends influences from country, pop, punk, alternative, and classic rock, all centered on her standout vocals.

Club 27 hosts a milonga that is similar to the practica, with a slightly more formal touch and a schedule designed to allow for more dancing. Guests from Memphis are expected to attend. The event starts with a class open to all levels, followed by social dancing to music by Noemi. Snacks, water, and other beverages are provided, and attendees may bring additional food or drinks. Admission is $10.

Four bands share the bill for a live show featuring Bigger Than Mountains from Salt Lake City, Rifleman from Las Vegas, and Little Rock artists Troy Bennetts Graveyard Lips and Ten Dollar Men. Entry is $10, NOTAFLOF.

Enjoy songs, dancing, and plenty of free play for kids ages 2 to 5 at Thompson Library. The session includes music and movement activities using instruments, followed by time for kids to socialize and play. Children under 11 must be accompanied by a caregiver age 16 or older.

Every Tuesday, Downtown Hot Springs hosts a weekly karaoke night where attendees can choose their favorite songs and take a turn at the mic.

Break up the week with an evening that blends art, music, drinks, and conversation with scenic views of the Museum. Enjoy craft cocktails while DJ Nico provides the soundtrack. Visit the Galleries to see the works on display, then capture memories with friends in the photo booth. This summertime series unfolds at AMFA each Wednesday night.
