Breathing in the Awe
The Spring 2026 program from Tucson Masterworks Chorale, Breathing in the Awe, takes place at Valley Presbyterian Church. Inspired by America’s national parks and the United States’ 250th birthday, the concert features works by celebrated American composers along with new music by Artistic Director Luke Diamond. The program invites quiet reflection, attentive listening, and moments that linger. Tickets are $20 for general admission and $10 for students.

This annual community gathering brings runners, walkers, families, neighbors, and supporters to Sahuarita Lake Park for a 5K run and a relaxed fun walk, presented in collaboration with Run Tucson at Rancho Sahuarita. Some aim for a personal best, others enjoy an easy-paced stroll, and many cheer along the lakeside route as the community circles the water together. Participation benefits Diamond Children’s Medical Center, supporting advanced pediatric services available locally for families across Southern Arizona. The day features a 5K course around the lake, an inclusive walk for all ages and fitness levels, scenic shoreline views, and a warm, community-driven atmosphere that turns a morning of movement into meaningful support.
