Part of the Orchard Series, this run winds through working pecan orchards when the trees are fully leafed and the nuts have reached full size, offering a scenic route beneath the canopy and a rare look at the farm. Get hands-on and fly an indoor drone at the Pima Air and Space Museum. You’ll learn the basics of drone flight and practice with an obstacle course that helps build your piloting skills. The session also includes a visit to the museum’s Aerospace Gallery. There are two skill levels during the day, a beginner session focused on building and flying a drone kit, and an intermediate session for flying with a connected phone or provided remote. Fronted by vocalist Chhom Nimol with Senon Williams on bass, Zac Holtzman on guitar and vocals, Ethan Holtzman on keyboard, Paul Smith on drums, and David Ralicke on horns, the group blends Cambodian roots with psychedelia, surf textures, Afro-leaning rhythms, and vintage soundtrack moods. Shaped by desert writing sessions and a desire for calm, the music favors subtle grooves, minimal and repeating motifs, and a gentle electronic pulse from vintage drum machines, analog synths, and understated programming, unfolding like a single movement. Songs such as Prohok In My Suitcase, Touch Me Not, Silver Fish, Late Checkout at the Cedarwood Inn, Room 720, and Wake Me Up Slowly reflect this direction. Ting Mong takes its name from a Cambodian protective effigy, and the album leans toward comfort and contemplation. This event is 16 and over, and attendees younger than 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
