Intro to TRE- Learn how to activate your own healing!

This introductory session presents Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises, a set of movements designed to trigger the body’s natural tremoring reflex so deep muscular stress and tension can ease and the nervous system can settle. The approach is grounded in research that views stress, tension, and trauma as both physical and psychological. Many participants describe the vibrations as pleasant and soothing, with frequent reports of increased peace and well-being afterward, and the method has reached people around the world. Developed by Dr. David Berceli, an international specialist in trauma intervention and conflict resolution, this practice can help release stored emotions from the body. It serves a wide range of people, including parents and spouses seeking more patience, survivors of violence or accidents, soldiers living with PTSD, athletes, and anyone aiming to build resilience and feel better. The session focuses on learning to engage this reflex in a safe, controlled setting so the body can move toward balance.

Summer Solstice Activation: A Somatic Sound Journey

Happening at Blisstopia Retreats, this Summer Solstice gathering offers a somatic sound journey that weaves immersive sound, guided meditation, mindful movement, and embodied exploration. The experience encourages participants to pause, listen inward, and reflect on the first half of the year before stepping into the months ahead with intention. Attendees will explore the body as a source of insight, meet what arises with presence, and integrate discoveries through sacred movement and dance. More than a traditional sound bath, it is framed as an activation that reconnects you with inner wisdom, helps release stagnant energy, and supports moving forward with clarity. Comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement is recommended, and the setting is intentionally intimate with limited space. Facilitated by Suzanne Alia of Start. Focus. Balance.

Cold Shott and the Hurricane Horns

Cold Shott and The Hurricane Horns bring a history rooted in the blues, beginning as a small trio in early 1990 before expanding under founder Ted “Madman” Kowal to feature an energetic horn section. By the late 1990s their songbook had broadened to spotlight the sounds they love most, weaving Soul, R&B, Funk, and the Blues. Guided musically by Tony Flores since 2002, the group pairs powerful vocals with fiery horns and a steady, driving rhythm section. Their performances reflect inspirations that range from Willie Mitchell, James Brown, Little Milton, Howard Tate, Eddie Floyd, Tyrone Davis, and Joe Cocker to the punchy, funky spirit of Tower of Power.

Blood Drive

Mountain Ridge is partnering with Vitalant to host a Summer Blood Drive focused on supporting patients who depend on donated blood. Every contribution can offer hope and help save lives, including for organ transplant recipients who often need multiple transfusions during critical procedures. In 2025, more than 49,000 organ transplants were performed in the United States, and many of those surgeries relied on the generosity of blood donors. In some severe cases, a single transplant patient may require help from up to 50 donors. This drive aims to fill 21 appointments and collect 16 units of blood. Whether you are new to donating or give regularly, scheduling an appointment is encouraged and your donation can make a lasting difference for someone in need.

Bullet Boys w/ Whiskey Dogz & Ghost of 88

BulletBoys return with the founders back together, bringing the blues-tinged hard rock that sprang from the late 80s Sunset Strip. Marq Torien, Mick Sweda, Lonnie Vencent, and Jimmy D'Anda reunite as the core whose chemistry defined the band’s sound. Their 1988 self-titled debut went gold and delivered hits like "Smooth Up in Ya" and a charged take on the O'Jays favorite "For the Love of Money", followed by 1991's Freakshow that carried forward the mix of grit and groove. Their videos were staples on MTV and still draw millions of views on YouTube. This new chapter spotlights a group coming together again to do what made them stand out.
