Authors Brian Conroy and Bill Guardino will talk about their book, South Bay Flashback, exploring the groundbreaking visual style and the rebellious, creative spirit that fueled the Bay Area rock and roll scene. Guardino attended his first rock concert at 14 and has spent more than 55 years building an expansive rock memorabilia collection that spans vinyl in multiple formats, posters, handbills, autographed photos, instruments, concert shirts, comics, magazines, and collectible toys. He continues to see as many shows as possible, especially Dead and Company, and this book is his first. Conroy is the author of eight books, including Shooting Stars and Blazing Guitars and I’m Just Sayin'. He taught theater and public speaking for 35 years in San Jose public schools and also taught storytelling at San José State University, and he wrote and directed the rock-themed musicals Hip Van Winkle, Revenge of the Flower Children, and Rock and Roll Must Die. The Herald Angels Sing, In the Bleak Mid-Winter, Joy to the World, O Christmas Tree, O Come All Ye Faithful, O Holy Night, Silent Night, and The First Noël. The concert lasts 60 minutes, doors open 45 minutes before the show, and there is no entry once the performance begins. Admission is for ages 8 and older, and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The venue is ADA compliant. Seating within each zone is assigned on a first come, first served basis. This is a tribute concert and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any artist, their estate, or official representatives. Multiple dates and times are available.

At Oakdale Citizens Cemetery, Cub Scouts Pack 365 and Troop 365 come together for a Wreaths Across America ceremony honoring veterans. Wreath placement will take place immediately after the ceremony, with the goal of covering 1,000 veteran graves.

Friends of the Fox hosts a screening of White Christmas at the Bob Hope Theatre in Stockton, CA. Doors open for guests, an organ concert takes place, and the movie follows.
