Molly’s Favourite brings traditional Irish folk to The Allies Pub with a spirited set shaped by more than 25 years in the local music scene. As one of only three traditional Irish bands in Chico, the group has welcomed a rotating lineup over the decades, keeping the sound rooted in community and tradition. The repertoire spans Irish jigs, reels, and ballads, and also reaches into Scottish, English, and other Celtic tunes, along with a few well-loved songs. The instrumentation features fiddles, mandolin, flutes, penny whistles, guitars, bass, bodhráns, button accordion, and the occasional tenor banjo. The band name honors Molly, the daughter of an early member and a champion Irish step dancer in her youth. Hosted by community member owner Mark Gailey, this monthly appearance fills The Allies Pub with lively melodies and good craic.

Maria Muldaur and her Jazzabelle Quintet bring a wide-ranging journey through American roots styles to the Women's Club, highlighting a soulful mix of blues and jazz shaped by six decades of music-making. The performance acknowledges the 53rd anniversary of Midnight at the Oasis and her latest recognition, including a seventh Grammy nomination for her 44th album, One Hour Mama: the Blues of Victoria Spivey, plus two Blues Foundation nominations for Best Traditional Blues Album and Best Female Blues Singer. Sierra Nevada beer will be available. Tickets can be purchased without service fees at Pullins and at Music Connection in downtown Chico, where cash is preferred.

The Sweet Flower Stage welcomes The Mother Hips and the Jackie Greene Band for the 3rd Annual Vet Rock Veterans Fundraiser presented by VECTORS Chico. Dylan's Dharma opens the music, setting the tone for a full day in support of local veterans. General admission is $70. Since 1996, VECTORS Chico has offered transitional housing, a veteran food pantry, and connections to resources that help veterans build stability and independence. Each ticket contributes to this mission while bringing nationally recognized artists to Chico for a memorable live music experience. Food and a full bar will be available throughout the event.
