A basic tool kit is recommended, including favorite wet and dry adhesives with a fine tip glue such as Bearly Art Glue, foam tape or squares in various heights like Scrapbook Adhesives Thin 3D Foam Squares, 3D Foam Squares, 3D Foam Micro Squares and 3D Foam Strips, tweezers, scissors, trays to sort die cuts such as Spellbinders Craft Stax, a pick up tool, and a craft mat. Nikki will share any ink colors or additional items needed before class. For the comfort of staff and customers, refrain from wearing scented oils, perfumes, lotions or other fragrances during classes, workshops, and shopping. All sales are final with no cancellations, exchanges, or refunds. If you cannot attend, a class kit will be provided and does not include shared supplies such as inks, paints, stencils, and other mediums. The teacher and store are not responsible for USPS shipping delays or errors. A minimum of three students is required for the in person class to run; if this minimum is not met, students will receive their kits with instructions to complete the project.

A band on board sets the groove as scenery drifts by, inviting you to sip, listen, and take in the views. The mix of rhythm, sights, and flavor turns the ride into a memorable escape.

Explore relief printmaking in a hands-on class with artist Heather Hogan at Pence Gallery. Learn how to plan images for block printing, transfer designs to a block, work with different inks, and create both one-of-a-kind prints and repeating patterns on paper and fabric. Paper, cards, flour sack towels, and drawstring pouches are supplied, and participants are encouraged to bring additional garments or fabric to print on. The session also shares techniques for collaging printed papers and attaching fabric print patches to clothing. Open to beginners and experienced artists, and recommended for ages 12 and up. The fee is $115 for members and $125 for nonmembers, with all materials included.

At It’s all about the Scrapbook, Nikki Sher leads a monthly class series centered on the Turn the Page Collection from Keepsake Studio and Esther Glas for Spellbinders. Drawing on vintage ephemera, meaningful stories, and interactive memory keeping, the sessions guide participants in building a unique keepsake album one page at a time. Each class includes exclusive materials such as a featured Keepsake Studio die set with coordinating papers, ephemera, and embellishments, along with clear, step-by-step instruction. Attendees explore interactive page techniques, refine layering and composition, try creative die cutting, and develop journaling approaches that weave in photos, memorabilia, and other keepsakes. As the series progresses, each session builds on the last so skills grow and the album becomes a cohesive collection of favorite memories, with multiple finished pages created in every class and techniques that can be used long after the session ends.

A relaxed music rehearsal takes place at West Manor Park. Participate in the music or simply sit and listen to the tunes.
