Violinist and educator Alina Adams offers a program of classic elegance. A Ukraine native also known as Alina Solodovnikova-Adams, she trained with European teachers while completing studies at Lentovych State Music College and Vinnitsya State Pedagogical University, and she holds a master’s degree in teaching music, performing arts and choral conducting. Unforgettable, a tribute to Natalie Cole starring Sabrina The Songstress, highlights the music of Natalie Cole and includes back stories about the artists, and Sabrina is also recognized for her tributes to Billie Holiday. The Alive Music Orchestra presents The Swing and Sophistication Show, featuring Frank Salamone and the Singers In Harmony. Created by Keith Stout as a big band focused on American jazz and education, the ensemble performs across many jazz styles. After Stout’s passing, leadership continued with his twin brother Ken. Members have performed in settings ranging from rock groups and chamber ensembles to symphonic bands and contemporary orchestras, with appearances at venues such as Six Flags Marine World and Disneyland. Several have shared the stage with artists including Frank Sinatra, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, George Benson, The Four Tops, Pete Escovido, Freddie Hubbard, Bill Evans and Richie Cole. Vocalists Frank Salamone, Katheryn Skinner, Art, Julie, Brette and Terry Stout appear as the Singers In Harmony on swing and gospel selections.
