5Rhythms® Sacramento Wednesday Class @ CLARA

The Auditorium at CLARA, Sacramento · verified Aug 2
    See details

Experience 5Rhythms at The Auditorium at CLARA in a class that moves through Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness. There are no steps to memorize, just an invitation to let the music guide the body in its own way. A simple place to start is by moving the feet and following the breath. Each rhythm offers its own lesson, and as you explore these energetic states, you can deepen connection with body, heart, mind, soul, and spirit. The room welcomes a wide range of experience, and every dance is personal, sometimes subtle or powerful, often revealing, and over time it can be transformative. Sessions typically include guidance and usually unfold in two waves. Wear comfortable clothing, and barefoot is preferred. Rooted in the work of Gabrielle Roth and practiced worldwide, 5Rhythms views movement as both medicine and metaphor, supporting the shift from suffering to art, art to awareness, and awareness to action. Classes are taught by Certified 5Rhythms Teachers Majica Alba or Bella Dreizler, with occasional visiting instructors. Single class drop in is $25, a 10 class card is $225, and first timers can purchase a three class pass for $50. Payment is accepted at the door by cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
