The group sets out from Fair Oaks Plaza Park and follows roads with light traffic alongside the American River Trail, offering ample room for strollers and conversation. An optional coffee hangout follows. Expect a gentle walking warm up, intervals that alternate walking with short runs with a plan to gradually increase the running segments, and a walking cool down. Arriving late, leaving early, or turning back is completely fine. This gathering is for moms, beginners, walkers and runners at any pace, and families with strollers or kids. For safety, a one-time digital liability waiver should be completed before attending.
