    Deep-Restorative, low-impact

Insumataq Studio, 882 Lincoln Way, Auburn · verified Sep 27
    See details

This deep, restorative, low-impact movement class centers on DEEP by Buti, a method that applies the Spiral Structure Technique to strengthen the mind-to-muscle connection and encourage change at a cellular level. The session emphasizes precise micro-movements, intentional physical touch, and breath-synchronized pacing to reawaken the deep core. It also weaves in self-massage and pressure point work to ease tension during restorative postures. The practice is designed to help prevent injury and restore muscle innervation, and it may support recovery related to bladder or uterine prolapse as well as diastasis recti. Participants can expect benefits such as clearer mental function, steadier nervous system regulation, improved core stability, and renewed pelvic floor support. By mimicking cross-crawl patterns and incorporating vibration and sound frequency, the class encourages communication between the brain’s left and right hemispheres, which can enhance learning, memory, balance, coordination, and overall performance. With consistent attention to touch, breath, and mindful movement, this approach fosters better neurological organization and a renewed mind-body connection, promoting a sense of regulation, restoration, and regeneration. A gentle path to reconnecting brain, body, and nervous system from the inside out.

    Eli Young Band

Rocklin Quarry Park, Rocklin · verified Sep 27
    See details

The Texas-rooted Eli Young Band brings a quarter century of chart success and high-energy country to Quarry Park Amphitheatre. Mike Eli, James Young, Jon Jones, and Chris Thompson have stayed together since the start, growing from Denton beginnings to global stages while staying true to their sound. Breakthrough album Level set the stage in 2005, followed by Billboard Top 5 releases like 10,000 Towns, which reached number one, and the Platinum Life At Best. The catalog includes multi-Platinum, chart-topping singles such as Crazy Girl, Even If It Breaks Your Heart, Drunk Last Night, and Love Ain’t, and their live show puts that momentum in the spotlight. After 2022’s Love Talking, the group returned to the Denton studio that launched Level and emerged with Strange Hours in 2025, a 13-song collection recorded without digital polish and built for the stage. Lead track Home In Hometown reflects life on the road with the honesty that has long defined their writing. At Quarry Park’s open-air amphitheatre, tiered grass seating creates an easygoing setting for Texas-rooted country with a rock edge from a band still performing at the top of its game.

Most items come from nearby small farms, with the majority sourced within 25 miles and all within 100 miles. Offerings highlight culturally meaningful crops that can be hard to find in conventional stores, and farmers receive fair payment. The program also serves ethnically diverse, low-income neighborhoods in Yolo County identified as food insecure by the USDA, with promotional materials available in Russian, Farsi, and Spanish. Its focus is a healthier, more equitable and resilient local food system built through community involvement and support for beginning and small-scale growers.
