Set in the storm‑tossed village of Ravenswood Bluff, a body hangs from the clocktower as rumors of a lurking demon spark suspicion at every turn. A brief rules introduction starts things off, then the group plunges into accusations, bluffing, and bold choices to reveal the truth before evil prevails.

C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters
At Harris Center for the Arts, The Screwtape Letters brings C. S. Lewis’s classic to the stage in a provocative, darkly comic look at spiritual conflict told from a demon’s perspective. Set in an eerily stylish office in hell, God is labeled the enemy and the devil is revered as a father below, while Screwtape plots to corrupt an unsuspecting human soul. Directed by FPA founder and artistic director Max McLean, the production has filled theaters in major U.S. cities and in London, attracting more than 500,000 attendees and earning praise from outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, The New York Times, and Christianity Today. The performance runs 90 minutes with no intermission. It is recommended for ages 13 and older, and children under 4 are not admitted. A question and answer session follows the show and is open to all attendees. Discounts include $30 under 30 with ID at the box office and savings for groups of 10 or more. All tickets are subject to service fees and handling charges, and there are no refunds or exchanges. Only two performances are scheduled.

Three Dog Night

7 Summers, a national touring tribute to Morgan Wallen, returns to Crawdads on the Lake for a make-up performance in Folsom. Expect a festival style setup, with patio seating available on a first come, first served basis. All ages are welcome. Dinner reservations are highly recommended, and purchasing a ticket does not guarantee a dinner table. Crawdads on the Lake holds an exclusive arrangement with the band in the Sacramento region, making it the only venue in the area presenting this act.
2026 Youth Football Skills Camp
Young athletes entering grades 2 through 8 can build skills at Vista del Lago High School with guidance from the school’s varsity coaches and players. The camp emphasizes football fundamentals, confidence, and improvement on both offense and defense through engaging, hands on drills. Instruction is noncontact and includes safe techniques for tackling and other core skills. Participants share lunch in the Vista del Lago varsity locker room and receive a behind the scenes tour of the football and training facilities. Every attendee gets lunch and a camp T shirt. Pads and helmets are not needed, just enthusiasm and a love of the game. The fee is $85 per athlete.

Training takes place in a range of conditions, since Juggers play in the rain, heat, and wind, so come prepared to exercise in potentially adverse weather. RSVPs are requested by messaging the organizers or marking the event post as going. Prospective players should bring water and sturdy athletic shoes or boots with ankle support, and are encouraged to consider a cup and mouth guard. This outdoor group dog obedience class uses positive, force-free methods that emphasize rewards and relationship building, creating a supportive environment for dogs and handlers of every experience level. Sessions adjust to the teams who attend, with practice on core cues such as sit, down, stay, stand, recall, and sustained attention, along with polite greetings and sitting for petting. Participants also work on loose leash walking, focus around distractions, impulse control, and preparation for the Canine Good Citizen test. Puppies under one year may be eligible to test for the AKC STAR Puppy title after completing six classes, a helpful first step toward the CGC program. Dogs must remain on leash at all times. Please give other teams space, and note that dogs in heat, harsh corrections, and the use of e-collars, prong or shock collars, or retractable leashes are not permitted. One adult handler is required per dog. Classes take place outdoors, so dress for the weather. Plan to bring a vaccinated dog with identification, high-value treats, a 6-foot leash, a 15 to 20 foot long line for distance work, water for both you and your dog, waste bags, and an optional chair, along with a positive attitude. BT Collins Disc Golf Course hosts a fall season tags competition with clear entry, division, and payout details. The entry fee is $10 per round, with a $1 addition when paying through PayPal. From each entry, $6 goes toward payouts, $1 supports Cash CTP, and $1 each is directed to the Ace Pot, FDGC, and PDGA, with the PDGA fee required for sanctioned league play. Divisions offered are MPO, MA1, MA2, MA3, FA1, and FA2. Payout varies by division size... three or fewer competitors pays only first place, four competitors pays first and second, and five or more pays first through third. In line with PDGA rules, professionals rated 970 or higher must play MPO, and female players rated 875 or higher must compete in a mixed division.

This outdoor group obedience class from Aaron’s Pawsitive Coaching, led by instructor Aaron Wood, welcomes every skill level and emphasizes positive, rewards-focused training that builds a strong relationship between handlers and their dogs. Sessions adapt to the needs of the group so each meeting offers practice that fits the dogs and people who attend. Teams work on foundational cues such as sit, lie down, stay, stand, reliable recall, and attention. The curriculum also includes courteous greetings with calm sits for petting, comfortable leash walking with sustained focus, self control around distractions, and preparation for the AKC Canine Good Citizen program. Puppies younger than one year may be eligible to test for the AKC STAR Puppy distinction after completing six classes, which is a helpful first step toward Canine Good Citizen. The six class series is priced at $350. For everyone’s safety and comfort, dogs must remain on leash at all times. Dogs in heat are not permitted, and harsh corrections, electronic collars, prong or shock collars, and retractable leashes are not allowed. Please give other teams plenty of space, and limit participation to one adult handler per dog. Plan to bring proof of current vaccinations with identification, high value treats, a standard 6 foot leash, a 15 to 20 foot long line for distance work, water for both person and dog, waste bags, and an optional chair, along with a positive attitude. Classes take place outdoors, so dress for the conditions. By attending, participants agree to release and hold harmless Aaron’s Pawsitive Coaching, any event organizers, and the City of Rocklin or Roseville, and consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional use without compensation.
