Shoreline Village brings back a free weekend concert series that runs from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Live bands and DJs perform at the Off Boardwalk Theater located by the Funnel House, featuring a wide range of styles that include R&B, funk, cumbia, roots reggae, rock en Español, top 40, pop, blues, 80s and 90s favorites, Caribbean sounds, dance music, rebel country, and honky tonk. The season showcases area talent such as Sarah Daye, Michael Haggins, DJ Rome, Catfish and the Hollywood Hound Dogs, Upstream, Thieves Like Us, the Michael Physick Band, Harbor Groove, Intent, JLB, Smooth, Reaction Band, Sugarlips, Moving in Stereo, Rory Seldon, Illunis, So Rad, Idellix, Pop Vision, In the Red, Natasha Remi, As IF, The Ponderosa Aces, Jah Faith, and DJ Impeccable Styles. This Southern California group includes Patrick on vocals, Mykael on guitar, Robert on bass, Andy on keys, Joe on drums, and Kelly and Michelle on backing vocals, delivering powerful vocals, blazing guitar work, and a tight rhythm that channels the spirit of the originals. Celebrate the sounds of iconic synth pop with a live tribute showcase featuring Ultra Mode honoring Depeche Mode, Substance saluting New Order, and Yazrasure performing the music of Yaz and Erasure. Tech Me 2 Da Beach celebrates nine years with a white party at Rosie's Dog Beach. The lineup features JJ Flores from Chicago, Big Cee of DEEP-LA, and Discopennylane from San Diego, joined by resident DJs DJ. !M:M£ and Darin Westcott of Green Life Ent and Holliday of AYAMTERRAIN. Vendors will be on site, including Big Will's Foodies & Beverage, and a live art show adds to the festivities. Attendees are asked to follow beach guidelines... no beer bottles, use plastic red cups for beverages, leave no trash behind and clean up after yourselves. No smoking is allowed, with a 420 exception noted.

Part of the Summer at the Shell Tuesdays Concert in the Park series, The Emperors take the historic Shell stage for a classic rock showcase. A leading Southern California band, they bring a lively set of favorites from the 60s, 70s, and beyond. The 1929 Shell in Recreation Park offers more than 600 bench seats and a broad lawn for blankets and low-back chairs, and it sits across from Wilson High School. This free, family-friendly, all-ages concert welcomes picnic dinners and snacks, and dancing is encouraged. Presented by Live at The Shell, a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the season is supported by Port of Long Beach, Councilmember Kristina Duggan, Supervisor Janice Hahn, Zaferia Business Association, and Snoofla Sound LLC, which provides all professional stage and sound equipment. While admission is free, tax-deductible donations made at the event help cover performer fees, city permits, and the ongoing revitalization of this Long Beach landmark.
