After her feminist anthem Labour went viral in 2023, she drew comparisons to leading female vocalists and followed with her 2024 debut album, Cacophony, a bold alt-pop collection that wrestles with mortality and patriarchal power through vivid, earthy imagery. She has since opened for Florence + The Machine on the Everybody Scream tour and released the single Miyazaki, which addresses AI and climate change with her signature blend of social insight and soaring hooks. Since emerging in 2019, he has appeared on national television, stepped onto the Grand Ole Opry stage multiple times, and performed more than 2,000 shows across the United States and Europe. His sixth studio album, Ain’t Dead Yet, reflects an intensely personal stretch in his life, shaped around cancer treatment and even studio sessions recorded the day before lung surgery that could have altered his voice. The sound leans into pedal steel, fiddle, and his distinctive guitar work, while the songs wrestle with mortality, gratitude, memory, and change with unflinching honesty and a sense of hard-earned hope. Renowned as “El Mejor Mariachi del Mundo,” Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán returns to celebrate El Grito, the inaugural Mexican civic celebration at The Soraya. The tradition honors the moment in the town of Dolores when a priest rang a bell and called people to rise against Spanish rule, a cry that came to symbolize the start of the struggle for independence and is commemorated each year as the opening of Mexican Independence Day. With a legacy spanning generations, the ensemble has collaborated with celebrated artists including Linda Ronstadt, Juan Gabriel, and Luis Miguel.

At THE ORPHEUM THEATRE, Laurie Anderson shares The Republic of Love, a program that grew from an invitation to a Vienna festival examining the rise of fascism in Europe. Asked to consider how government and love connect, she shaped that idea into an evolving mix of songs and storytelling about America, woven with historical perspective. Performing with Sexmob and guests, she revisits pieces such as Big Science and Language Is A Virus, presented in a fresh light. Love Flamenco World Tour brings the raw energy, emotion, and spirit of traditional flamenco to the United States in a one-of-a-kind stage experience. Honoring a form recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the performance weaves powerful song, guitar, and dance. The company is led by Antonio “El Turry”, an award-winning and internationally recognized voice in contemporary flamenco, together with guitarist Marcos de Silvia, a rising talent and recent recipient of the Grammy Scholarship from the Paco de Lucía Foundation, and dancers Fuensanta Blanco and Vero La India, admired for strength, grace, and purity. They are joined by Sevillian singer Iván Carpio, noted for depth and tradition, Miguel “El Cheyenne”, a master of rhythm and handclapping, and dancer Ricardo Fernández “El Tete”, an emerging star with a solid track record in Spain’s leading flamenco venues. Country singer songwriter Riley Green brings the Cowboy As It Gets Tour to the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, filling the night with down-home storytelling, gritty vocals, and the feel of classic country performed live. Ghostly Kisses brings its North American tour to the stage, presenting the ethereal indie dream-pop of Quebec City artists Margaux Sauvé and Louis-Étienne Santais. The duo is known for intimate, cinematic writing that blends the personal with the universal. Following Darkroom (2024), an album shaped by anonymous letters from listeners, this new chapter turns inward with reflective, introspective songs. Developed across years of travel and performances on multiple continents, the latest material considers distance in many forms, what separates us from the people we love, from who we once were, and from who we hoped to become. Barbara Nadas brings a cinematic pop sound to The Mint LA, blending soul, jazz, funk, blues, and touches of rock. Pianist Hunter Noack performs on a 9-foot Steinway concert grand while listeners wear wireless headphones and roam the surroundings, letting the music serve as a personal soundtrack to the outdoors. This appearance is the first of two IN A LANDSCAPE concerts at this location.

HVO Fest is the first ever Christian R&B festival in Los Angeles, taking place at Avalon Hollywood. Centered on Christian R&B, it brings fans together for a celebration of the genre.

ART X TACOS brings an art show and taco party to Los Angeles at All Styles Tribe Studios. The theme is More Tacos, Less Loco, focusing on a laid back experience filled with creativity and flavor. More than 30 local and touring artists will present their work. There will be plenty of tacos along with other food options. Live music and DJ sets will keep the energy up. The event emphasizes community by teaming up with local businesses and creators. Cameras will be rolling, so fashion-forward looks are welcome. Presented by Relevé Dance Group, Night at the Brooklyn offers a lively new social dance experience in LA. It features gated parking in a quiet, secure neighborhood, high energy dance music, and professional dance hosts available to partner with guests.
