A relaxed car meet in Corona welcomes all kinds of wheeled rides. It takes place on Saturdays unless it is raining or Christmas. The gathering is held at Dos Lagos, with occasional moves to different parking lots during the holiday period. To keep the event safe and thriving, participants are asked to avoid revving, speeding, and burnouts, drive slowly through Corona, and respect the property and surrounding neighborhood. The community welcomes a broad spectrum of vehicles, including muscle, JDM, classics, exotics, supercars, lowriders, and modern rides. This CSHA rated Gymkhana in Region 12 features a full slate of arena patterns, with Birangle, Big T, Skill Barrels, and Cloverleaf as the rated events, plus Figure 8 as an extra. Riders can enter Divisions 1 through 6, as well as Division 7 Junior and Division 7 Senior, and there is also an Open option that does not carry a state rating. Junior is defined as 13 and under, and Senior is 14 and over. All-events pricing for FRR members is $45 with early registration submitted by the Wednesday before the show or $60 afterward. Non-members pay $55 with early registration or $65 after Wednesday. Additional options include Time Only runs at $5 per run for horses already entered, single-event entries at $15 per event plus a $10 grounds fee, and Lead Line (three events) at $7 per event plus a $10 grounds fee. A mandatory state rating fee of $2 applies per horse and rider combination, excluding Lead Line and single-event entries, and a mandatory $10 grounds fee applies per horse and rider combination, excluding Time Only. Online registration with payment is available and includes a 3 percent convenience fee. Early registration means both entry and payment are submitted by the Wednesday prior to the show, and entries received after Wednesday are charged the higher rate. Competitors must complete and sign the 2026 Rider Participation Waiver and Hold Harmless Agreement before competing, which is an annual form required only once per season. A one-afternoon pop-up choir at ATOMIC Ballroom brings together musical theater fans, former choir kids, a cappella enthusiasts, and anyone who enjoys a good show tune to learn a medley from the Broadway hit Hamilton. Singers of all levels can take part in two-part harmony with no audition and no prior experience, as long as they can match pitch and want to learn. Across three hours, participants rehearse parts, build harmonies, blend voices, and finish by filming a commemorative performance video. Anaheim’s Really Really Free Market brings neighbors together at Pearson Park, set near the tennis courts, for a community exchange where no money changes hands. There is no buying, bartering, or trading, everything is offered at no cost. Participants can bring items that are clean, safe, and useful, such as craft materials, books, toys, clothing, shoes, plants, housewares, small furniture, electronics, and non-perishable food. A blanket or tarp helps create a simple display. Please allow people time and space to set up before taking items, return anything unclaimed to keep the area tidy, and do not resell what you find here. Free services and skill sharing are welcome, from haircuts, nails, mending, and repairs to teaching crochet, games, or yoga. A Food and Essentials Drive runs alongside the market with a give-what-you-can, take-what-you-need spirit, and items especially appreciated include diapers size 3 and up, wipes, laundry detergent, and toilet paper. The gathering is designed with accessibility in mind, meeting ADA standards with accessible restrooms, mostly flat terrain, no stairs, dedicated parking spaces, a wheelchair ramp, and wide doorways and walkways.
