Step into the STEAM Lab for a hands-on day of creating during August 8. Families can join rotating art and design activities that focus on experimenting, building, and bringing ideas to life, with time to explore through the museum’s scavenger hunts and creative challenges. Timed wristbands are required for STEAM Lab access, and each wristband includes a 30-minute session. Admission is available for adults, students, and children, with free admission for kids five and under, and free accessible parking for visitors.

Kids can dive into an interactive bead snake craft using pipe cleaners, colorful beads, and googly eyes at Victor Valley Museum. Join in for a fun, comedy-filled sip and paint experience with Summer-Ween vibes. You’ll be painting on a prepped 11” x 14” canvas with acrylic paint while enjoying hilarious comedy performances. Flabob Cars and Planes Car Show is a modified-car festival held at an airport airstrip, pairing custom rides with aircraft, hangars, and a lively DJ and vendor alley scene. Expect a wide mix of builds and styles, including JDM, Euro, domestic, VIP vehicles, stance and bagged setups, plus games, music, and multiple competitions and attractions like a live build battle, tug-of-war, and raffle prizes, along with awards across various categories.

Inland Empire’s Belly Dance Mosaic is a community hafla that brings together a range of styles in a welcoming celebration of dance. Hosted at The Bombshelter, the gathering offers an evening of performances, local vendors, food, drinks, and chances to connect with others who love the art form. Arriving early makes it easy to grab a bite, browse handmade goods and costumes, and settle in to cheer for the dancers. Performer slots are available for those who would like to take the stage. The CARE Project, Inc. and The Riverside Airport Cafe partner for a casino-themed evening that blends games, music, and community impact. Race trucks return to Orange Show Speedway with an open field that includes ARTS, SWTT, Pro Truck, Spec Truck, IRT, King Taco Truck, LMTS, and Thunder Truck.
