Help reduce community cat overpopulation through a Trap Neuter Return service day held on the fourth Tuesday of each month. The Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center humanely traps, vaccinates, microchips, spays or neuters, ear tips, and returns community cats to their outdoor homes to stabilize colonies and prevent new litters. To participate, bring cats in a covered humane trap labeled with the cat’s name and the trapper’s name. Carriers, boxes, and crates are not accepted, and there is one cat per trap. All community cats will be ear tipped. There is a limit of four community cats per person. No appointment is required, and admission closes when the maximum of 40 patients is reached. The fee is $65. Trap rentals are available from MSRPAC at $5 per day or $20 per week with a $75 deposit refunded upon return. Community cat resources are available, including a TNR guide for beginners and cold weather tips for building an outdoor shelter.
