She now shares her work in studios and resorts, through deep dive private journeys, beach silent discos, and crystal bowl sound healing on California’s Central Coast. Michaela Goorahoo, founder of EXPAND+BREATHE, is a 500 hour Integrative Himalayan Yoga Teacher, Pilates instructor, breathwork facilitator, sound and energy healer, and movement educator with more than two decades of experience. Her work blends science, psychology, spirituality, and embodiment. She is a published co author in Frontiers in Physiology with research on diaphragmatic breathing and respiratory efficiency, and she integrates studies from India into accessible practices that combine Integrative Himalayan Yoga, pranayama, kriya, meditation, mantra, movement, and sound. Her teaching invites a remembrance of innate wisdom and a life of presence, purpose, and connection.

    An intimate night at The Siren in Morro Bay features Scott Kinnebrew’s solo project Sounding Arrow alongside Gary Jules and Breezers. Kinnebrew, known from Truth & Salvage Co., recently unveiled his second Sounding Arrow album, SKYMAN, co-produced with Gary Jules. The record leans into close-to-the-bone storytelling and a rich, spacious sound that blends rock, folk, country, blues, British Invasion influences, R&B, and pop. It was mixed by Bill Reynolds and mastered by Dewey Thomas. Over three decades, Kinnebrew has appeared with artists such as The Black Crowes, The Avett Brothers, The Lumineers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and others, with his former band releasing two albums on Sony’s Megaforce label and performing on late-night television. Gary Jules, recognized for “Mad World” from the Donnie Darko soundtrack, steps from the studio to the stage for this show. The lineup also includes Breezers, the songwriting vehicle of Los Angeles multidisciplinary artist Evan apRoberts. His music draws on the wide-open feel of the American West and years of work in the LA scene, following a 2010 solo debut and extensive touring as a guitarist, bassist, and vocalist with acts including Michael Nau, Pink Mountaintops, Joel Jerome, Little Wings, Kath Bloom, Tall Tales and the Silver Lining, Kings of Convenience, Elisa Randazzo, and Port O’Brien, a band praised by M. Ward in 2008.
