Hilton Santa Cruz/Scotts ValleySumi-E Bamboo with Enso
Experience traditional sumi-e by learning to paint bamboo, a classic summer subject and one of the Four Honorable Gentlemen. The session also explores creating an enso, a Zen circle that symbolizes the moon. Instruction is led by Carolyn Fitz, an artist and educator who has taught through Cabrillo College Extension for more than 20 years and served one week each year as an Artist in Residence with the Yosemite Conservancy art program from 2000 to 2016. This program is for adults. All supplies are provided. Registration is required. Individuals on the waitlist may stay to observe.
