CalPride Stanislaus and La Familia present a workshop that meets twice each month to center the lived experiences of neurodivergent LGBTQ+ adults. It offers a welcoming environment for candid conversation, shared stories, learning, and building connections. Discussions explore topics such as masking, identity development, relationships, mental health and well-being, advocating for oneself, working through institutions and services, and life at the intersection of queerness and neurodivergence in adulthood. This free program is open to community members ages 18 and up, whether you are newly exploring neurodivergence, have personal experience, support someone who is neurodivergent, or want to deepen your understanding. A relaxed, drop-in gathering offering feeding support and connection for families. Open to all parents, including those not in WIC. Receive peer encouragement and guidance from a certified lactation consultant on breastfeeding and pumping, latching, flange fit, infant behavior, weight checks, and preparing to return to work. Arrive and leave whenever it suits you. Support available in Spanish.

Each Wednesday, The Yard Tracy in Downtown Tracy offers a daylong happy hour featuring $5 draft beers from the taps. It is a relaxed spot for a midweek break, with beer and food that make it easy to unwind.

A welcoming art space for ages 16 and up offers time to create and connect in community. Some gatherings feature guidance from local artists, while others function as open studio time so participants can work at their own pace. Bring your own supplies for personal projects, or explore the selection of donated materials to start something new. All experience levels are welcome in this low pressure environment at CalPride Stanislaus.

Spend over $10 and choose a free item, with more complimentary picks added as your total increases. Expect a wide variety of finds, including clothing, appliances, electronics, cookware, dolls, shoes, baby essentials, and furniture. Prices are kept low, and reasonable offers are welcome.

Marking its 40th year, Edible Extravaganza is the Center for Human Services’ flagship fundraiser at Modesto Centre Plaza. Proceeds support local programs that strengthen families across Stanislaus County, including youth shelter and housing, family resource centers, and behavioral health services. General admission is $70 and includes access to more than 50 vendors along with music, raffles, and other activities. VIP admission is $125 and features early entry with a champagne reception, plus access to the VIP Room and VIP Sky Lounge. Attendees can eat, drink, and contribute to a good cause while celebrating a milestone for this community event.

A 12 week support and study group for women, guided by Marsha Means, MA’s workbook From Betrayal Trauma to Healing & Joy for partners of sex addicts. The group explores issues that arise when betrayal has disrupted a life or marriage and provides space for honest conversation. In a supportive environment, participants share experiences, process personal pain, realize they are not alone, and take first steps toward healing.

Settle in at Rivets American Grill for a guided paint party led by artist Linsey. Participants will create a piece on a 16 by 20 inch canvas. Seats are $30 per person and reservations do not include food or beverages. This event is for ages 21 and up, and guests are encouraged to grab a beverage before getting started. All supplies are provided, including an easel, canvas, brushes, a paint palette, acrylic paints, and aprons. Acrylic paint can permanently stain clothing, so please dress accordingly. A minimum of 10 participants is required to hold the session. If the minimum is not met, the organizer may reschedule or cancel and will offer a credit or refund. If you have already paid and cannot attend, you may send a friend in your place or receive credit toward another public paint event. This 6th annual tournament at Elkhorn Golf & Country Club supports the Lodi Animal Services Foundation and features a four person scramble. Participants enjoy breakfast and a BBQ lunch, plus a raffle and silent auction. Skill contests include longest drive, closest to the pin, and putting, with opportunities for hole in one prizes. Entry is $150 per golfer. Participation helps fund care, enrichment, and other lifesaving efforts for animals in the community.

Kids Discovery Station celebrates five years of curiosity, creativity, learning, and community impact with an adult-only fundraiser gala at the museum. Since opening, the museum has welcomed thousands of children, families, and students into a space designed for hands-on discovery, imagination, and play. The evening features dinner, drinks, music, auctions, raffles, games for adults, photo opportunities, and moments that highlight the organization’s work in the community. Proceeds support museum access, field trips, STEAM programming, Family Access and Inclusion, future exhibits, and hands-on learning experiences for children and families in Merced. Attendees are encouraged to dress for a magical night. Complimentary child care will be provided for those taking part.

The second annual lowrider holiday takes place in Downtown Modesto, California. Admission is free. Pre-registration is available by QR code, and there is no fee to sign up.

JSTSTANCE Modesto is an automotive event held at a ballpark, with room for more than 200 show cars. Vehicles will be displayed around the field, inside the ballpark, and in the outside parking lot. It is family friendly, and children 12 and under are admitted free. Advance tickets are discounted.
