You’ll be guided step by step to create functional resin pieces, including a custom resin cutting board, a set of 4 coasters, and an ornament. The workshop covers color blending, resin pouring for movement and depth, and how to get a smooth, glossy finish. Supplies are included, and you can personalize your designs with pigments, metallic accents, and translucent effects. Please plan to arrive about 5 minutes early.

See the preparation, adjustments, and growth unfold as it happens, providing a rare window into the craft behind a compelling performance.

This monthly Reiki meditation welcomes practitioners of every attunement level, initiation, and technique. It is held on the second Saturday of each month. The exchange is $20 per month, or $220 for the year with a $20 savings. Exchanges are transferable but non-refundable.

This beginner-friendly drop-in improv class at The Bunker Theater in Ventura invites adults to explore creativity at a pace that feels right. Participation is flexible, so it is fine to watch, step in for a few exercises, or dive fully into scenes. Audience masking is welcome, and keeping some distance during scenes is encouraged. For those performing in scenes, masks are removed, and choosing not to participate if that is uncomfortable is completely acceptable. The session opens with brief introductions that may include names, optional preferred pronouns, and something new and good in life. Sharing is always optional, and the goal is a positive space that respects pronouns and differing beliefs. Mature topics may surface in scenes, so the class is intended for adults. A minimum of four participants is required for the class to take place.

With plenty of shapes to choose from and the option to create your own pattern, you will finish with a unique piece ready for display indoors or outdoors. No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to create and have fun.

The Ventura County Fair welcomes back a fiesta celebration, offering an evening of dancing to share with family and friends.

Join for a one-day silent retreat focused on slowing down, turning inward, and deepening your practice in a quiet setting at Meditation Mount. The day includes an opening circle and orientation, group creative meditation to settle in, silent reflection with optional journal prompts, and time to explore the grounds for personal sanctuary. You’ll also have a quiet nourishment break with tea, water, and light snacks, and you’ll bring your own lunch. The retreat continues with more personal sanctuary time, followed by a closing meditation circle and intention setting. Mats, chairs, and blankets are provided, and you’re welcome to bring your own mat or meditation cushions. The gate opens at 9:30 AM, and you’re asked to arrive by 10:00 AM for orientation. Please wear comfortable clothing and sturdy walking or hiking shoes.

The 2nd Annual Summer Market Series brings an outdoor marketplace to the Hotel Plaza at Zachari Dunes, framed by a coastal resort setting. Each market showcases a changing lineup of Ventura County sellers offering jewelry, apparel, baked treats, crafts, accessories, and more. Admission is free, the atmosphere is family friendly, and dogs are welcome. The series is open to hotel guests as well as the local community.
