Tri-County Diversity hosts a welcoming celebration of queer cinema with a Chasing Amy double feature. Curated for 2SLGBTQ+ adults ages 18 and older, this screening invites attendees to catch either film or enjoy the full pair. A light snack bar and beverages are available, and personal refreshments are allowed. The program features Chasing Amy, the 1997 rated R story of comic book partners Holden and Banky, whose routine changes when they meet fellow artist Alyssa. Holden develops feelings for her, then learns she is a lesbian. It is followed by Chasing Chasing Amy, a 2024 rated R documentary that explores the legacy of Kevin Smith’s 1997 film within LGBTQ+ communities and its life saving effect on director Sav Rodgers.

Hosted by the Yuba Sutter Chapter of the Mule Deer Foundation, this first annual chapter banquet takes place at Sutter Youth Organization - SYO. The event features dinner, games, raffles including a ladies raffle and dedicated raffles for veterans and youth, and both silent and live auctions. There are chances to go home with items from brands such as Christensen Arms, Vortex, and Quigley-Ford. Online ticket purchasing is encouraged, with package options available, and early bird ticket packs qualify for a drawing for $100, $300, or $500 raffle packages.

Center Stage Productions brings Disney’s Aladdin Jr., a family-friendly junior ensemble musical featuring a story of friendship, courage, and wishes coming true. Doors open at 12:30 PM, with the show running from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. All ages are welcome. No outside food or drinks are allowed inside the venue, and restrictions include no alcohol, drugs, weapons, glass containers, or recording devices.
