Celebrate Aspen’s most colorful season with a relaxed watercolor workshop on the MOLLIE Roof Terrace led by artist Sarah Uhl. All experience levels are encouraged and all materials are provided. Enjoy snacks and cocktails from the Petit Familia menu while you paint. The cost is $35 per person. Space is limited and reservations are recommended.

The Snowmass Balloon Festival brings a favorite Rocky Mountain tradition to Town Park with more than 20 hot air balloons inflating against the mountain backdrop of Snowmass Village. Spectators can watch balloons up close along the perimeter of the field and are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs since there is no on-field seating. Early mornings can be quite cold, so warm layers and closed-toe shoes are recommended. Dogs are not permitted on site. Parking on road shoulders anywhere in Snowmass Village is prohibited due to drought conditions, including along Brush Creek and Owl Creek Roads. Free parking is offered at Town Park Station, the Rodeo Lot, and the Brush Creek Park & Ride, with frequent complimentary shuttles to the festival and around the village. The weekend includes a Friday Night Glow with tethered balloons lighting up the field to a festive playlist, plus free glow-in-the-dark giveaways and food available for purchase from the New Belgium Ranger Station tent. Saturday features an early morning mass ascension, and Sunday continues the spectacle with another chance to take in the balloons before exploring village trails or grabbing a bite afterward.
