This ensemble merges the drive of a rock band with the expressive force of violin and piano, offering fresh takes on well-known works by artists such as Coldplay and Michael Jackson alongside classics by Vivaldi. At the helm is violinist and fiddler Aaron Zimola, whose wide-ranging influences span folk, jazz, rock, Celtic, Americana, and classical traditions. His improvisational flair and storytelling are complemented by the distinctive voice of a 1908 George W. Fisk violin, crafted by a Colorado luthier often referred to as the Stradivarius of the West. Guitarist and composer Conner Leigh Shaw adds expansive soundscapes shaped by Colorado’s terrain and themes of transformation, drawing on his teaching and performing career that includes collaborations with Neyla Pekarek and Ben Sollee. Pianist Peter Romero, an award-winning composer and accompanist with a background in music theory and composition from the University of Northern Colorado, brings versatility honed across concert halls, sacred settings, choral ensembles, and traditional Irish and contradance communities. The rhythmic engine is powered by internationally touring drummer Roman Garcia, recognized for his work with Like Moths To Flames, extensive global performances, and notable studio sessions at the Blasting Room. Bassist Alex Naylor anchors the group with propulsive grooves that unify its varied influences. The performance is presented entirely in white and shaped by a signature environment of light and sound, creating an immersive blend of orchestra, rock concert, and cinematic atmosphere. Beverages such as Walter’s Beer, wine, and select cocktails will be available, along with Mexican dishes from Dana’s Classic catering, served by Abriendo Inn bar staff. Outside alcohol is not allowed. Attendees must be 21 or older and children are not permitted. Parking is requested in commercial public spaces between Quincy and Broadway one block to the east, or in available spots on Jackson, with care taken to avoid blocking neighborhood driveways.
