2nd Home Restaurant/Lounge hosts a live set from guitarist Chris D'Amato, also known as Smokin' Opey. A professional blues musician for three decades, he draws on deep American roots traditions, moving from Delta tones on a steel-bodied National to Piedmont fingerpicking and flatpicked melodies on a vintage Gibson. His background includes twice reaching the Connecticut Blues Society solo or duo finals and being a finalist at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. The performance centers on guitar-driven roots music across a broad spectrum of Americana styles.

Robert C. Fullerton returns to 2nd Home Lounge for a performance that blends original songs and covers with storytelling. Reservations are encouraged but not required.

Hike to the Mic XII brings a weekend blend of hiking and live music to Heublein Tower on Talcott Mountain, all wrapped in a playful, cosmic vibe. The lineup features TAZ, Will Evans, Jake Swamp and the Pine, Charlie Widmer, Roost, KC Sisters, Mad Agnes, The New Brew, The Rosy Tones, Tessa Brown, The Orbit, and Doss. Sunday includes a jazz set with Chris Casey and Dr. Michael Gold, and Kris Jensen appears as artist in residence. Sessions are designed for Beginner and Improver levels, creating a comfortable setting whether you are just learning or fine-tuning your steps. On the fourth Tuesday of each month, the party moves to other dance locations, and details for those weeks are shared on the page.
