Hike to the Mic XII brings a weekend blend of hiking and live music to Heublein Tower on Talcott Mountain, all wrapped in a playful, cosmic vibe. The lineup features TAZ, Will Evans, Jake Swamp and the Pine, Charlie Widmer, Roost, KC Sisters, Mad Agnes, The New Brew, The Rosy Tones, Tessa Brown, The Orbit, and Doss. Sunday includes a jazz set with Chris Casey and Dr. Michael Gold, and Kris Jensen appears as artist in residence. A free food distribution presented by NEST and Whole Foods offers limited quantities on a first come, first served basis, with distribution ending when supplies run out. Experience Yoga Summer Series offers a welcoming, body-inclusive yoga session at the Love & Care Community Garden, led by Corina Parkmond, a Waterbury native and certified Yoga Therapist with over seven years of experience. Newcomers and seasoned practitioners alike can take part in mindful movement, breathwork, and calming relaxation designed to support comfort, confidence, and connection. The session takes place alongside Free Food Distribution events to make wellness part of a community routine. Attendance is free, and voluntary donations help support the instructor’s time. Please bring a yoga mat, water, and, if you wish, a friend.

Now in its 25th year, the SMS Rev. Robert J. Lysz Golf Tournament takes place at Pequabuck Golf Club and is set to be the largest edition to date. Participants can take a swing at winning a new Ford F-150, vie for twelve foursomes at local courses, and take part in a fifty-fifty raffle, along with additional giveaways. The event supports kids and brings the community together on the course.
