Check in at the Ranger Station by saying you are here for the guided jaywalk, then follow directions down the dirt road just past the station. Park in a spot that does not block work vehicles. Be prepared with water, sunscreen, and insect repellent, and wear closed-toe shoes suitable for sandy footing. Binoculars are suggested but not required. For the safety of the birds, pets are not permitted on the tour. There is no extra fee beyond park admission. Arrive early to allow for traffic and to ensure entry before any possible closures.
