All experience levels are welcome, no prior mechanical know-how is required, and you can bring parts if you have them. Each session focuses on practical upkeep for everyday riding. Topics include repairing flats and swapping tubes, checking pressure and selecting suitable tires, dialing in rim and disc brakes, adjusting shifting and derailleurs, cleaning and lubricating the chain and knowing when it needs replacement, performing bolt checks and basic safety inspections, tracking down squeaks, rattles, and ride-stopping problems, recognizing when a bike should not be ridden, and deciding what to tackle at home versus what is better handled by a professional shop. The aim is to share knowledge, build confidence, and keep more bikes rolling, especially for people who may not have easy access to a repair shop or formal training. The emphasis is on community, mutual support, and self reliance rather than perfection. No mechanical background is necessary. Bring a bike and a curious mindset.
